I think when Basturk leaves, Donovan should be a lock for the AMC spot. There's other opportunities as well - Donovan can play pretty much any position. He can be effective as a wide or central midfielder or as a forward. Of course, there's no need to tinker with the Bayer line-up now when everything's going good. But if someone begins to underperform, Donovan will be right there as a candidate to take over his spot.

Well he could fit in at the AMC or AML positions in the team.

The right is a bit packed, but if Basturk leaves then he would surely be competing for it(assuming he returns). And the AML position has never really been filled since Ze Roberto left.
