It was only his first start of the year.

Leverkusen is still top of the table.

Stuttgart are just one point behind, while Bayern Munich have slipped to fifth.

Stuttgart have me worried though... they're playing very good right now. And is it just me or has the season gone like this for Wolfsburg: one game they totally OWN, the next game they totally SUCK.

Basturk's contract finishes at the end of the season, he will presumably hold out for an expensive deal somewhere else.

Failing, he will sign on at Bayer again.

Lucio still has some time on his contract, so he will only be leaving for a large deal (Presumptions being at about 16 million pounds or so).

When do Leverkusen get Donovan back?

I know they tried to get him to come back last year but he refused. I'm hoping he'll go to Leverkusen (or another European team) after this year's MLS season is over.

I don't think D'Allesandro has made a big impact for Wolfsburg.

I believe Donovan was going to return to Bayer at the end of the current season.

After the WC he had said he wanted to spend 2 more seasons in the MLS at least...or something of the sort.

To be honest I think he would have some trouble fitting into the team, Ponte and Basturk already occupy the AMC spot, although Basturk's contract does end at the end of the season, so they might intend for Donovan to replace him, and for he and Ponte to battle it out for the place.
