Bridge should do what Keane did to that Man City/Leeds player to Kluivert, for telling him to get off the pitch, then trying to get the ref to move him.


And as mentioned Shearer was going for and got the ball but it was how Bridge sort of landed on his ankle that caused the injury.

Gallas can provide to be a better LB than Bridge will ever be.

I have to disagree with that. Bridge is a natural left footer who can put in great crosses from the left flank whilst Gallas is really more of a central defender than left back. The Frenchman can do a pretty good job, granted, but I'd prefer to see Bridge on the left back role.
