I have been playing both games all the day and IMO both games are very good...
each game has his good and bad points which makes me fan of both..

That´s it..
I´ll buy PES3 and FIFA04 and enjoy them a lot...:rockman:

Exactly! If u like soccer games then go and buy both and play one after another. Stop dissing them. They r different style of games! I love both of the games but I especially like fifa cuz first of all its real and second of all its just plain awesome!!!:rockman: Cant wait till they both come out on PC and then I will really enjoy myself.

Apart from Italia's spooling post, this is a terrific topic. It is about time people realised that it is not illegal to play both games. Sometimes it seems as though you are only allowed to enjoy and support one of the games. I'm sure lots of people out there are like me and enjoy playing both of the games.

That´s right Matt, i also enjoy playing the two games, I discovered PES3 recently by playing the PES 3 PC demo and it was excellent like FIFA 2004 game, so stop people fighting or discussing if one or the other game is best or more good. I repeat the two games are excellent.

I agree. I expected to be blown away by PES, and I didn play the demo a lot at first but I havent played for a while now. Both demos are pretty good and I expect both games to be quite good.

Only loser fanboys will continue to say one is better than the other, when it will really be a personal preference.

Theres a number of reasons why people might buy one.

-personal preference
-Can only afford one. ie poor student, parents chosing one,
-Not practical to play both at the same time, a lot of people like to concentrate on one game at a time.


I myself have brought pes3 after looking at both the pes board and the fifa board it seems the people with fifa have a lot of issues with their game, although i may rent it one day

in any case, you've chosen the wrong forum to critcize comparisons look at the title of the forum fellas :) I find this a bit perplexing...


its only natural to compare two competitors. PES is light years ahead of anything FIFA has done, despite FIFA's best attempts to copy Konami's genius...for now...give it some time, give it somecriticism, and we may get a good footie game down the road...

Yeah I'm stuck in a flat with 2 others who are Fifa fans, but luckily I've just about converted them to realise how good PES3 is relative to fifa... even so I still force myself to play fifa from time to time and despite all the scripting, predictability and repitition of it, (and more importantly the fact that its not really like football) as long as you treat it as a fake game such as Speedball then it is fun for an arcade up-and-down-the-middle kick-about.

On the other hand if you want to play a realistic, tense, and varied match then of course pes is the only way to go ;)
