Blatter and Warner (A match made in Heaven)

So Blatter now discloses that the best placed 3rd teams in the World Cup 2010 play off games will be SEEDED.

Not enough that all the "big" European teams were all afforded the luxury of a seeding at the begginning of the qualifiers, but now it looks like some of FIFA's best money spinning teams are having a bad qualification, and perhaps might not even make it to South Africa, in steps Blatter to rescue their campaign, at the cost of "smaller", or in FIFA's thinking, financially lesser attractive teams.

Fifa are supposed to represent ALL the member footballing countries, and not just the most successful or profitable. This blatent move by Blatter at this late date, only confirms to us what a corrupt and stage managed show this coming World cup will be.

This is a blatant missuse of authority by Blatter and should be challenged. How much longer is this spiv going to be allowed to ruin World football.

.....and talking of corruption and gangsterism, Carlos Warner ( Blatters number 2), a man who should be in prison for deception, nepotism and money laundering at the least, has declared that HE doesn't like the style of England's bid to host the 2016 World cup.

What he is actually saying to the English FA is that their bribe is simply not huge enough at this moment in time. That's probably very near the truth.

Then to appear on TV and give it the big I AM, and at the same time telling the English FA that his reservations have nothing to do with football but everything to do with BUSINESS, then we can clearly see that to FIFA, the football is not as important as the money it generates.

This moron also wants to introduce "sin bins" at the 2010 World Cup finals. This will allow him more oppotunities for his betting syndicates to speculate who, why and against whom certain players will be sin binned. Warner you can be assured of course, will already know the answers to those questions. He can make sure it is so.

Bribery and corruption at the highest level, and they are allowed to get away with it time after time.

Here's what Trappatoni say's....
Trapattoni: FIFA are 'killing football'.
Republic of Ireland coach Giovanni Trapattoni has blasted FIFA's decision to seed European nations who qualify for a World Cup play-off spot according to their world ranking, claiming it is 'killing football'.

Sepp Blatter announced last week that the eight best runners-up from Europe's nine groups will be divided into two columns, according to their FIFA world ranking, meaning traditionally strong teams will avoid each other.

The move is particularly scandalous, as the decision was only made after some of Europe's more prestigious footballing nations, for instance Portugal and France, failed to win their groups out-right, as might have been anticipated.

And lest we forget, these money-spinning European big-shots are already afforded the luxury of being seeded when the initial group draw is made, so the likes of Italy and Germany automatically avoid one another in the group stage.

Trapattoni's side are on course to secure the runners-up spot in Group Eight, but with FIFA's new ruling they will likely come up against one of the stronger European nations in their play-off tie, with Germany, France and Portugal all possibilities.

And the former Azzurri coach is seething following FIFA's shameless attempt to ensure the big European names make it through to the World Cup finals in South Africa next summer.

"This solution is a bit like killing football, a few years ago the big European clubs thought about creating a 'SuperLeague', but they abandoned the idea because they saw the risks of this. This is a similar solution.

"Every national team has the same rights, and making a seeded draw goes against this principle. But of course, the business of the big teams controls everything."

The Republic boss joined his goalkeeper Shay Given in lambasting the football's governing body, the Manchester City keeper also hit out at the ruling on Wednesday.

"It's incredible that FIFA has taken a decision like this precisely when the bigger teams are struggling to qualify. It's actually disgusting."

We should all be similarly disgusted by the decision, if FIFA is so desperate to prevent any change to the football world order, perhaps they should guarantee Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands a place at every major tournament.

This would at least let the smaller competing nations know what they're in for, before they get their hopes up that they might qualify. I wouldn't put it past Blatter and Co in the fuutre.

Hey guys, I have a great idea: let's just automatically give the world cup slots to the 32 largest F.A.'s (except england, because we all know that the premier league is ruining football by stealing all the young talented foreign players away from their rightful teams, amirite?). Better yet, let's just roll a die every four years: 1 is brasil, 2 is italy, 3 is germany, 4 is argentina, 5 is france, and 6 is saudi arabia (they've got money to invest).

Warner has ties to the Ku Klux Klan. You guys may be saying, "Oh, that's some of Bobby's crap again like when he said God was an 1860 supporter", but it's not. Carlos Warner has ties to the Klan.

God is an 1860 supporter. He's just putting them through the same test of faith he put moses through. Oh, crap, that means they've still got 36 years of wandering Bundesliga II before they find the promised land...:$

It's Carlos Warner not Walker. Fully agree on him being a corrupt bastard though.

Thanks mate, I wasn't concentrating. Post updated (Y)

Warner and Blatter can stick their World Cup up their collective arses as far as I'm concerned. I don't believe in it any more. It's stage managed from beginning to end, and the original purpose and aim of finding new World champions every four years ON MERIT, can no longer be guarranteed.

In fact with this latest move, Blatter has shown us that he is willing to give his preferred National teams who are struggling, yet another lifeline to ensure they are given a second chance to progress. It is unbelievable behaviour.

Hahahahaa....The word is in England is that Warner wants to meet the Queen and he wants a knighthood FFS. The FA said " no way can we arrange for you, a jumped up drug running, pimping extortionist gangster to meet the Queen, or give you a knighthood you crazy old bastard ", (probably not using those exact words I conceed ), and our Carlos has taken that pretty badly it seems.

Well many people in England are saying that FIFA can stick it, if they think we are gonna go begging to Warner or Blatter. WE wouldn't demean ourselves to those loathsome people.

Someone needs to take this piece of sh1t out

I agree with your original post, but come on. This does not make the 2010 winner any less legit. Liverpool were helped into the 2005-2006 Champions League, which was a bullsh*t move, but did it make Barcelona's title any less legit? No, because whoever they replaced was never going to contend.

When the World Cup comes around, you will be just as excited as everyone else, especially if England makes a run.

Which they won't (H)

Do me a favour mate. Everyone knows how past World Cup finals have been fixed to suit the investors. That's why the host nation always gets helped along. We've been aware of this crap for years, and we've all seen our teams progress affected one way or another by manipulation, but now Fifa just don't care who knows anymore.

Sevillista thinks the same way as Blatter. " Hey by the time the games start, nobody will give a sh1t ", and in Sevillista's case Blatter will be right.

If a country cannot qualify for a tournament because they cannot come top, or second in their group then they are not good enough to play in that tournament. It doesn't matter who the team is, the principle should remain the same.

Only now that Blatter has seen some of his money spinning National teams looking like they might not make South Africa, with very few games remaining he decides to introduce seeding into the playoffs. We all know what that means.

He will do the same thing regarding other confederations next if he gets away with this. Especially in South America. Personally speaking, if Argentina aint good enough to qualify then tough luck to them. End of story. The same goes for any other so called "big" teams from Europe who are having problems in qualifying.

This competition stinks from beginning to end and it has done for decades now. Maybe Sevillista aint been around as long as I have. Maybe he aint noticed the changes over the last 40 years.

I have though, and I've personally come to the conclusion that when it comes to the big tournaments, it's all a crock. All of it. World Cup, Champions League, its all simply manipulated to suit the people that run the thing, and to suit the investors and sponsors.

It has nothing anymore to do with a team playing well and deserving to progress. The entire thing has no soul any longer for me. So no, I will not be glued to my telly next summer, just as I don't and won't bother with the CL any longer.

Sometimes enough is enough.

Warner and Blatter are clowns. I agree with Pede, the world cup is very much "stage managed" event.

I told you I agreed with your original post, but it's not going to stop me from watching the tourney.

Enjoy your boycott, I'm going to enjoy some world class soccer. :clapwap:
