Best Video Player

Could some1 tell me which is the best video player ?
I'm so sick of the Windows Media Player, and all the other players I tried weren't so good.
So please recommend me a good 1.

Hmm.....media player is adequate enough for all my videos though i use cyberlink powerDVD for all my vcd's etc.

I'm speaking of videos from my HDD, not VCD's or DVD's

VLC player can play almost every sort of media type(excluding *.rmvb)

I want an alternative for WMP, with the same type of interface [ i mean not just 6 buttons ]

Why don't try klite mega codec pack
You can play whatever video u want without installing quicktime, realplayer

well then quicktime and realplayer but that can't play all files.

Another solution is winamp5. it plays many files and you can get extensions for even more files.
