futbol of these days require more than goals and assists from STs and Forwards. some are good with the ball and some are better at receiving and finishing. but Goals are what STs are known for, of course these lists ain't all of good STs, sheva's exceptional and there're host of others, but true STs, who can not only score but who can Create SPACES for others are well loved from managers more and more from all leagues, and there are few who are good at this. matter of taste actually, some like technical and all grace players, but most of these players play as Two forwards. And some like powerful goal machines.
Modern futbol changed to style where not only For, Mid, Def doesn't have big of a gap as before, but also saw birth of ONE STs Who can do it - 4-2-3-1, 4-3-2-1, 3-4-2-1 and all these NEW formations where requires more roles for Single Forward hasn't been around too long, but seems like it is the way to go for good clubs and national side these days. Of course, ya'll know STs ain't the only one who can play, after all, it's 11 vs 11.

I disagree zidane aint no good nor is ronaldo owen was good but not any more it would have to be either Henry or Maybe shearer he is a good player! and Bergkamp altho old still as great as ever!
