Way back in the 1980's, football could only really be brought to life via Subbuteo, blow football, table football (fuseball) and Tomy's awesome "Supercup football"
My favourite was always Tomy Supercup Football. Consisting of a plastic base with a felt pitch and stadium surround and red knobs at one end and blue the other. You moved the players down tracks cut into the pitch (by moving and twisting the knobs - twist will kick and up down would run) also the automatic corner/throw system was great too. Plus it was small enough that when your friends weren't around, you could play it by yourself.
Anyone else have any pre videogame football memories?
