Patches have many differences (in number of faces, in number of added teams or leagues or tournaments), so everybody choose what he likes, for me best of all is moddingway patch (search it at moddingway.com).
There are many new teams, many new faces (and faces always been updated), new kits and etc.
But the main that it contains many new tournaments (WC, Euro, Concacaf, Champion League, Europe Cup and many other tournaments).
Just download few patches and try it by yourself and then choose.
