Best controller / Pain.

I have played alot of Fifa 2005 in one sitting 3 seasons and my thumb kills me where I can not play for next few days. Anyone have this issue?


What is a great joystick for this game?

ill tell you the basic logitech...20 bucks DUAL ACTIOn most basic..with the 2 sticks...bam...no pain....unless ure hands are really big..but otherwies best deal..no tricks..no problems

i don't think the controller is the problem, i think it's you playing to long for one sitting, take a break man.

I have a Microsoft sidewinder.

I just got a logitech cordless rumble pad 2 also.

keyboards are for TYPING.
gamepads and joysticks are for GAMES.
fifa is a game, therefore USE a gamepad.

i use the ps2 gamepad with the usb adaptor.

I play to relax from coding.

I work from home so no 9-5 and traffic.

Wow hehe, I don't think I've played for more than a couple of hours straight - 6 to 8 hours is certainly a marathon FIFA session I use a Saitek P880 Dual Analog and it works a treat. I think whatever you use you're gonna have some pain in your thumb though if you play for that long hehe.

I use a Saitek P800 too, but i used too play all the other Fifas on keyboard but controllers are much better, you get more feeling and you tend to get your fingers stiff if you use keyboard to long, i mean its only four arrows to turn with.
