what i did after downloading it, was resize my e_sound.afs to about 266.6mb then i load up the rebuilded .afs file and go to import folder- select the folder in which the fifa commentary files are located and then it takes a while for them to import of course, and most likely you might have to rebuild again, no worries. Then replace the new .afs in your DAT folder. I'd suggest using AFS explorer or WE pEs graphics studio rather than DKZ Studio because it corrupted my .afs file using DKZ, but thats just me. When in game make sure to turn off commentary:name/number off, so that brackley doesn't pop in. okay enjoy.

oh i forgot to add- it is really pretty good.there are some bug repetitions, but all in all it is really fantastic-he put alot of hard work into this and has done a great job, you'll enjoy it for sure, it just took me a while to get used to it, i really hate fifa and that voice represents all that is FIFA and EA but i'm getting used to it now.

I have a few questions about this patch. I'd appreciate it if someone took their time to answer these categorically rather than saying "It's great. Get it" or "Just download it".

1. Does it replace all the default commentary?
2. Which is it compatible with? PES or WE8i? Both? Previous versions?
3. Will it work with Wolf patches?
4. Does it cover player names, team names, gameplay ("The 'keeper beaten and it's in the back of the net", "Nice clean tackle there")
5. Who are the commentators? Is it Motson and McCoist from FIFA 2005/2004/2003 or does it include the likes or Lineker, Lynam and Lawrenson from FIFA 99?
6. Which FIFA/FIFAs was it extracted from?
7. Do you get Motson talking about sponsorship and how the game's changed since he was younger like in FIFA 2004?
8. Is there an easy way to install it (copy these files to this folder) rather than use AFS explorer?

Commentary patch

This works fine with Wolfs patch. Installed this on my PC yesterday
It replaces commentary and team call names but not player call names yet.
Its Good , more atmospheric than old PES4 commentary.

Player call names may well be added at later date.

for anyone who is having problems importing it, here is what the creator of the file said, although i think this is for PS2 it can be adapted for PC i think.

Extract your E_sound or S_sound file from the iso. Now open the patch file with Dkz studio, choose edit>extract checked files to folder and put them in a new folder (say "fifa patch"). Now open your extracted E-sound in Dkz studio and choose edit>import all files in folder. Choose the "fifa patch" folder and now it should refresh your original E-sound and says some files don't fit. Have a look down the file list and now you should have new files (written in bold). now just choose "save as" and this newly saved file is the one you re-import back into then iso with cd-mage or whatever - click yes to pad with zeros.

its a good patch but sometimes turns repetitive ( like: good forward pass, good forward pass, good forward pass, and back, and back, and back, and ... SHUT UP!)
But i think something that should be improved in PES and WE series are commentaries, fifa ones are 100x better

but i am having problems...

it wont let me load when i make it a file (the files extracted from e_sound.afs

can u help me...
