Be careful when using patches and tools!

I know you are using patches and tools from several sources. For your own safety, use only tools and patches from users you trust! The reason is simple: Fifa 09 stores the matchmaker username and password in the registry, its easy to extract the values.

So again:

1) Use a different password for Fifa 09, one you dont use anywhere else!
2) Be careful which patches and tools you use!

If you dont believe me, go ahead, open the registry and check for yourself.

It depends on the patches. If they are just graphics (kits, adboards, flags, etc), then you can. But if they modify the DB (team patches, Creation Master) - then no. But you can copy your DATA folder (FIFA 09/data/) with a different name, and use one data for patches, and the other for multiplayer. I do that :). And just change the names to play. :)

No no, sounds patches don't affect online gaming. Gameplay and Db patches yes, of course!

Also, If two users who play against each other online have the same patch installed than it works. One who has only original and other who have a patch cant play online.

simply do what do you want with grafic, sound, teams , fifa.db folders , but if you want play online u have owerwrite the modified fifa.db(backup the modified fifa.db u can doing again what u want) with original fifa.db, no matter about zdata or gui.big!! but do no any new ai.ini in main folder or any other ..ini , those can harm your online game
