Some fans at the annual AGM claimed the atmosphere at the Allianz Arena's better at games involving 1860.

"Who do you think you are for criticising us when we work our socks off to create this stadium? "

Hehe, legend. Benitez just denied rumours that he'd be joining Bayern. The atmosphere does seem to be a bit lacking in the Allianz compared to the Olymp. But maybe it's just the tv.

Hendrik, can u explaine us what Uli Höness said about the "Group nr.12" and the "Schickeria"? I has talked about violence in the stadium and he's afraid to end up like here in Italy, but I was sure that in Germany the stadiums are pretty sure, I've seen oldmen, young guys, women, children and zero violence, what's going on?

Paolo, Schickeria and Club Nr.12 aren't officially registered fan clubs (they obviously don't want to hand out names and addresses). They've caused trouble in away games in the past. The most recent incident involved some innocent Nürnberg fans, a woman lost her eyesight. They demand full control over the Südtribüne, they want to distribute the tickets by themselves. Hoeness claimed the Italian Ultras are their role models.

I doubt Lahm will want to leave even though his spot in the team is not certainly guaranteed now.

Thanks for the info, i kinda knew about bigsoccer but i wanted the jersey now. At DFB.De the jersey was actually 70 euros not 125.

Barcellona: Accordo raggiunto con il Bayern per Lahm

Trovato l'accorso tra Barcellona e Bayern Monaco per il trasferimento in Spagna del difensore Philip Lahm. Secondo i media tedeschi i due club avrebbero raggiunto l'accordo sulla base di 15 milioni di euro anche se i blaugrana, confidando nella scadenza del contratto del giovane difensore (giugno 2009), sperano ancora di ottenere un lauto sconto. Da tempo d'altronde il Barça insegue Lahm, considerato uno dei giovani più interessanti della Bundesliga, per il quale è già pronto un contratto di quattro anni. Appare comunque altamente improbabile che il difensore tedesco possa essere ceduto già nel mercato di gennaio: per la conclusione della trattativa bisognerà attendere con ogni probabilità la fine dell'attuale stagione.

Seems like they will be paying 15 mill for Lahm.it also says that barca is willing to get a discount since they can get Lahm for free after the 2008 season. I hope if he leaves we bank on him at least.

Niente Italia: il difensore centrale del San Paolo Breno, 18enne grande promessa del calcio brasiliano, ha scelto di andare al Bayern Monaco, in cui giocherà da gennaio. Lo si è appreso da fonti vicine al San Paolo.
Breno aveva ricevuto anche altre due proposte, definite "molto concrete", da Real Madrid e Fiorentina, ma ha preferito la soluzione tedesca.
Il Bayern avrebbe già accettato di pagare i 18 milioni di dollari della clausola rescissoria.
Il giocatore partirebbe per la Germania già nei prossimi giorni. In passato Breno era stato seguito anche da Milan ed Inter: quest'ultimo club aveva anche mandato un suo emissario in Brasile per trattarlo.

It's a very big call. At that age he could end up being anything or nothing. We have signed plenty of foreigners who haven't lived up, Karimi just to name one.

It will be hard for Lahm to resist that offer, but let's hope he does play out the season with Bayern. Surely he wants to end his stint at Bayern being bundesliga champions!! But the idea of pocketing in some cash also appeals to me. Catch 22.

His contract runs until 2009, if we we sell him we need to do it next summer. However Lahm still hasn't confirmed it so it might all be his agent trying to get more money out of Bayern (it worked for Sagnol).

That's 12 million euros. You won't get a top defender for that amount of money from anywhere in Europe. This kid will win the player of the season award in Brazil which means he might be more than just a teenage prospect. All we need is a backup to Lucio and Demichelis for now.

I don't think Barca is after Lahm, we really don't need rightback (or is he left, I'm not sure?), actually we don't need any new players right now, and I don't think Rijkaard thinks anythign else than that, too, so you shouldn't probably be to worried about te rumours.

Munich - Bayern Munich's French international defender Willy Sagnol wants to leave the Bundesliga club during the winter break. Sagnol, 30, who has a contract until June 20, 2010, said Saturday he had asked the club several weeks ago to release him.

"I still have the wish. I want to leave the club," he said.

Sagnol, who has spent the season recovering from a knee injury, was on the substitutes' bench for the first time during league leaders Bayern's 2-1 victory over VfL Wolfsburg Saturday.

He underwent surgery on cartilage and other problems in his right knee in April and has recently been playing for Bayern's reserves.

This was bound to happen. He's been given the green light from the docs for weeks. Such a player deserves better treatment. I can't wait to see who's next. Schlaudraff, Sosa, Podolski ... We have a 25 man squad, you can't play the same XI week in week out. Rotating is a necessity.

Eww the prospect of having him in Munich makes me feel sick to the stomach.
I didn't get why Sagnol would want to leave, is it because he is not playing or is it because he wants to try something different? If that and the Lahm rumors are true than we lose 2 of the back wingers in the world at the same season. I don't like the idea at all.

Yeah, I agree with you on Mourinho; would much rather Ottmar extend is contract than have him on our sideline.

As for Sagnol, if he has been fit for weeks then why persist with Lell at starting RB? Doesn't make any sense. Willy must have had a falling out with management.

So, Sagnol and Lahm away from Bayern........Kahn is at the last year of his great career, does anybody else leave the team? So we could spend in the next summer other 70 millions €......I'm confused and angry.
