Damn, Bayern is the most active club in transfer window. I thought, that Chelsea together with Real Madrid and Barcelona will be buying the most.

Good luck with return on the top of Bundesliga and race for UEFA Cup (Y)

UEFA Cup Title here we come(H)

I would like a try in the champions league:$,but even the uefa cup can be very hard, cuz not the teams with the best players wins this cup.Werder were very strong when they were eliminated from the champions league and i though they gonna win the uefa cup easy, but they were eliminated by Espanyol:nape:.Bayern must win both the bundesliga and the uefa cup.

JA, why spending money this year for a player who's not a worldclass and could be free next year?

I think Makaay really should stay,he's better than Klose. The german club football is in poor form in the moment,so they need more foreign players and i don't see why everyone is talking that we're going to win the uefa cup with that team.Bayern could do this with the previous team that fell in the 1/4 final in the champions league, cuz they played stupid in the second leg.

Next year if Roy stays he will score 30 goals in the Bundesliga:)

Nope, not yet. Only under the condition that he immediately retires from the nt.

“We’ve agreed with Zé Roberto in principle on a two-year contract, but we still have to iron out a few small problems,” Hoeneß explained. The main area for clarification is whether the 34-year-old winger will continue to turn out for the Brazilian national team. “Our opinion is that it’s not good for a player who’s already a little older to be flying across the Atlantic five or six times a year,” the board director commented.

“We’re under a huge amount of pressure next season, so we need full commitment to the club, especially from players of his calibre,” the general manager continued, expressing confidence that Zé “will decide to focus completely on Bayern Munich, and be prepared to give up his career in the Brazilian team.”

wow,
today has been in part the end of a long way. we have signed the two stars.
the last two days i had fever, vbut i'm very happy.

now we only need the new hargreaves (zé roberto). if it comes new players some players will leave. seems boulahrouz won't come. i prefer van buyten, i don't want he leaves.

but i still think that we could sign zé, klose and not CB but yes a left midfielder. i think the subs of defence (ismaël, demichelis, jansen) and forward (makaay and schlaudraff), have more level that in the midfield (ottl, altintop, sosa). so i would like a left midfielder before klose this year and a CB.

and görlitz or lell should go out. i think they are the only two players who aren't good enough. if you see the other players, have been starters and very important for the team during this season or the last and now are in the bench (demichelis, ismaël, ottl...), and the others are new signings.

That is plain sellfish. If he is called to play in the selecao he should go. Honoring your countrys jersey it is not optiona, every player should consider it a duty.:jambo:

Erm, I disagree in Ze Roberto's case. He's 34, and its not ideal to be travelling from Europe to South America, then being expected to challenge for a position at your club team, which is very hard considering your 34 anyway. Essentially playing a few national team games a year could harm his whole club year, and leave him sat on the bench, which will most likely happen at Brasil anyway. It's not exactly placing Bayern higher than Brasil, but Bayern will play around 50 games next year, and is it worth harming your chance's to get into the first team to play around 9 games (or possibly sit on the bench) for Brasil ?

I agree with Ze Roberto on this one, hes 34.

Werder Bremen Demand Podolski For Klose

Werder Bremen have ruffled a few feathers in Bavaria by asking for Lukas Podolski in exchange for Miroslav Klose.

With all the pieces falling into place in the great rebuilding project at Bayern, one piece still seems to be eluding them - Klose.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Uli Hoeneß, and Ottmar Hitzfeld have all stated their desire to have Klose at Bayern this season itself, rather than have to wait until his contract at Werder expires in 2008.

Klose himself has “told them plainly that he wants to join Bayern,” reported Hoeneß.

After Klose made his feelings clear, Bayern made their move, and Hoeneß has confirmed that there is an offer for Werder to consider: “Bremen received a firm offer from us 10 days ago. That is fair enough.”

Bayern are reported to have offered €10 million. However Bremen consider this offer too low, and have up brought the possibility of a player exchange with Lukas Podolski in the reckoning.

Bayern have immediately refused the demand. “Podolski will never be given away,” quipped Hoeneß who also described talk of a loan move to Bochum for Podolski as an ‘April Fools trick’.

--------------------------------------

Who the hell do they think they are...whatever happens Klose is a Bayern player and if they don't accept the 10 million then hes free next season...boohoo bremen :boohoo:

That Ribery deal could cost us € 30 million if we qualify for CL next year which we probably will? Ridiculous but it's nice to have a new Frenchman to be excited about. And Bremen are stupid to think that we would buy Klose for Poldi. The whole point of bringing Klose in is to help Podolski. Probably just a way of telling us to raise the price or move on.

I won't be too dissapointed if Klose doesn't sign. We should be okay for next year. If Klose has a good season with Bremen, we can pick him up for free or we will see if he really has lost the touch if he has a bad season.
