From the screenshots, previews, trailers, movies I've seen this game looks awesome. I played one of the first type of these online army games, it was called Delta Force (they went crap towards the end of the series), anyone remember that? Battlefield2 reminds me a lot of that just much, much better. I don't really play any games on my PC but I'm defenitely getting this game!

Played the demo for quite a while yesterday. Very impressive although it takes a while to get used to the gameplay as it's not just gung-ho shooting, there's quite a bit of running around to do before you encounter any enemy and sometimes it's hard to tell from a distance if it's the enemy or your buddies.
Jet fighters and choppers take a bit of getting used to, still haven't fully gotten the hang of it but it's an awesome game. Defenitely going to buy it!

I've put my hands on the full version oh but wtf??? coop multiplayer is over, only 16 players single player missions are available no 32 or 64....

I'm now started to think that I should do something to unlock coop missions or 64 player maps.. if no unlocks are available, then this game is fcuked up for me

They've released a game full of technical issues. Until they get a patch sorted out i'm not playing the damn thing.

the game is superb, despite i prefer walking, not driving vehicles, it's still superb!

Aye, or laying the C4 around your base and wait till the opposing teams sends a few tanks your way and then blow them up from behind a bush.

I am the biggest armour whore. Love driving one into a team base and just spraying some bullets

Bought the game a few days ago and I've been playing non-stop. Even upgraded my RAM up to 1Gig and it runs sweet as. Can play pretty much highest settings without any trouble!

What server do you lads usually play on?

What is your global score? I am getting close to 5500, havent played much the past few days.

Not sure what my score is.

The only thing I don't like about BF2 is that stats are only registered when playing on ranked servers (kill ratio, death ratio, how many flags captured etc.)

Does anyone have the PC specs required for this game?

It takes quite a high end PC to run the game but it's well worth it.
Pentium 1.4GHz, 512MB RAM, 128MB gfx card and it's on DVD-Rom

It doesn't run very well on 512MB though (unless you want to sacrifice graphical quality) so I upgraded to 1GB (extra 512MB memory costs nothing nowadays anyway) and it runs sweet as.
