I saw Barcelona's game today and I can't figure out how can a team be so sh!te in domestic league and win almost every game in the most difficult tournament of the world the CL.

When Van Gaal was on charge it was pretty strange that this was happening and now that Antic is the manager the same f***ing thing is happening.

Is the spanish league more difficult than CL?
I'm sure not but I can't think on a reasonable answer to this question.

Does anyone here have any idea of how can this be possible?

Maybe it's because they are on a loosing streak in their league, so they just keep on playing the way the normally play, which always gives them a loss on the end of the day. However, in CL they are winning and they might even be playing the exact same way as in their domestic league, but against the teams that they are playing against it's working. Also, they see that they are winning in CL so they work harder to keep on doing that. They see a chance for the trophy in CL, whereas in their league they are too far down and almost feel like slacking off.

I hope I don't annoy people, but apart from Inter they got not real big teams sofar. Al respect for Newcastle, but they are from another catagory as Ac Milan, Valencia or Real Madrid.
So I think the reason is they avoided the really big teams sofar...

I agree with most of you two have posted but here's something.

For Coon:

I don't think they'll work hard for CL and just "let go" the spanish championship. I may be wrong, it's just my opinion.

For Han:

I agree with you when you said that the things so far were kinda easy to Barcelona in Champions League but in domestic league they have played poorly against some sh!te teams.

They played Leverkusen :f***:

Seriously, in the spanish league they usually play quite good against strong teams. They have problems with poor teams.

Sevilla kicked Barxa's ass this season 0-3 at Camp Nou :D And it really is strange that they are doing good in the CL and bad on the league lets hope they start playing bad on both :)

This is so damn confusing. Barcelona are harder to predict than Women. Honestly

What the **** is going on at Nou Camp?

My guess would be motivation.

Of the league title and European Cup, which one has Barcelona won the latest? The League title of course.

So the players would be more desperate in winning the European Cup.

Plus since they now know that they cant possibly win the league they might as well refocus and try to go after European glory.

barcelona is really a strange team this season.. but i still think that they won't be able to win the CL this season... maybe they can make it to the semi... but if they do win it i would be happy also.. ;)
