Banned From Evo-Web.Other Good forums?

Well well, I have been banned from Evo-Web, and most surprising, over exaggerated info from one admin to another, how can I harass someone over MSN Messenger when I never even sent something, spoke with, chit chat with the guy over MSN. F'in amazing! Very interesting stuff, anyway, enough of my complaining. Though Evo_Web had great info for WE on the PS2, I now have to find another source to get updated info. Regretfully for my case, it has turned quite PC focused about the Soccergaming area, hence you might see my dilema!!! Any of you guys who go both here and Evo-Web, do you know of any other forums with as much info as Evo-Web had? thanks guys. Hopefully with better admins who make final judgements on the facts and not have double standards. I didn't even do anything worth a ban. Oh feck. please anyone, I am missing my WE updates like crazy, made it a habit to check up on this atleast for a little bit every day! sorry and thanks:kader:

I hate stupid shiznit like the stuff that happened with me. It's a dayum shame since I got tons of info from Evo-Web. Hence why I am asking if anyone else knows of a good source forum!?

I've heard that they're scanning the PM there too.

Can't you use another id from a different machine?
I'm sure they only ban on IP address and user-id.

Unfortunately, Evo Web is the best source for WE/PES news. This forum, as you say, is very PC biased right now, although, of course, that's perfectly fine.

Yup. I noticed all the Admins had suddenly played WE7I (jap version). Hmm... I wonder how that was possible. So I asked an Admin (through a PM though) what they were using to get the game. Stupid mistake it turned out, there were two more things which added happened, but nothing bad! Don't wanna waste your time with the explanation though, it really was blown out of proportion though by that Admin, cause I got the ban message from the head admin saying what happened, it was so exaggerated as if I was harassing the guy! anyway.. just sucks though, evo was a great source for info and patches!

BTW.. thanks BC for the sites, it will be a dayum shame!

i normally check it out once a day at least.

how's WE7I(jap) btw ? Is it much better than WE7 ?
I'll probably wait for WE8. don't want to spend another $70 when i'm still playing WE7 with wendetta.

I am getting used to it. It feels like a different game TBO, which is a good thing! it seems to be a lot more tactical based. In WE7, it was mainly being able to utilize the sidestep motion and sprinting and you can get your men open for goals. in this, the comp doesn't fall for the dribbling moves as easy, defense is more responsive, you are really forced to pass more because of this. Only crap thing is that their is this last defender catchup bug. If you have Henri on the break, some slow nonamed defender can catch up, unless you have a huge gap! I have played like 4 games though, still not enough to make a worthwhile opinion!

sounds a bit similar to WE6 where they had super catch-up defenders and greater reliance on a passing game.
How's the CPU AI ? Is it more of attacking play or more of long-ball stuff?

why don't you register again with new nick and if you were banned on IP, with new IP ? (proxy, spoofing in Mozilla, also there are many progs to change your IP)

btw. does anyone know, if it's possible 2 import the data of PES3/WE7 (e.g. option files or the data saved in the exe or some stadiums, kits, etc.) to we7i/jap?

It was you who PM'ed me asking where to get a warez version of WE7 International (jap). I told you that it's pure foolishness to ask an admin about that since you should have known about our rules regarding warez requests. And I didn't even ban you because of that. You were banned later after emailing me the same stupid question again. And you would have even asked me via MSN if I hadn't declined your request. That's for sure.

Now you're telling here that this is not worth a ban? Come on... It's even worth two or three if you would have cared about our rules :rolleyes:

Our rules are stated pretty clearly and it shouldn't be that much of a prob to follow them all.

Anyway, wish you all the best here...

Hey man. Yup, I did ask you over the PM since it was quite suspicious from my observation that most of the Admins already had the game. I haven't told any lies so far about the situation! Fine, my assumption was that the admins must not take their own rules very seriously for themselves since they already had the game, why should it matter if I ask over a PM through your forum, never publicly. FINE. I get a reply, "your stupid for asking an admin". Okay, I think about it, obviously (and this is my thought process) you can't willingly give that kind of info over the evo-web since you ARE an admin, hence, you can say whatever you want private over your e-mail. No harm in that, keep in mind my first thought that, the admins don't seem to be keeping to their own rules. I don't even know your thought process at this point, hence why I attempted to ask you. Then I get banned as if I was harassing you!? BS man, if you would have said in the first place, don't ever ask me through any mediam, may it be through my private e-mail or MSN or whatever for the game, fine, I would have left you alone, like I said in my first thought process, that was the impression I was under (I can't ask such a thing over evo-web since you are an admin). Instead of ignoring me, you could have just said what I mentioned, what the hell could I have done then, obviously nothing and I would have left ya alone. Nope, I get banned for "harassing you over MSN", that's the reasoning I got atleast! whatever man. Yeah I can read rules, I can also observe what's going on and how serious some things are taken. Sorry, but I shouldn't have been banned!

It's not about HAVING a game, it's about REQUESTING A WAREZ LINK. You can own everything you want, I really don't care. But it's not allowed to ask for illegal sources or post 'em - that's all. Even if all admins/mods/users own an illegal copy.

I don't care if people play with an illegal copy of any game, but it's my function as an admin to prevent people from spreading those sources or asking for it. And you did that twice even if my email account isn't part of evo-web directly. But you contacted me using our "send e-mail" function - which keeps evo-web involved in that action.

PS: You won't find any mod or admin requesting that game anywhere near evo-web. So stop talking about us breaking our own rules if you're not even able to comprehend them in the way they're meant to be. That's all I gotta say here, I just wanted to point out our point of view about it. cheers...

heh. okay. well I am not all knowing here, but i can only go on my observations, and I still stand where I do, i didn't bad mouth evo-web, which obviously is your reasoning for coming on here, I was bad mouthing the reasoning for my ban! aside, like i said already with the e-mail, i made my case, regardless of your stand, I got no communication about it. me comprehending rules is no problem. hell. i tried even communicating with you through MSN, nothing to do with evo-web.. seriously though, keep on backing up your forum since that's your job. so. -shrugs shoulders- whatever though, right?:rolleyes:
