Bad news in relation to kits

This was taken from the review over at Greek Tournaments, it states the following:

Kits are not individual files. They all are part of one big one that is 28mb. This meaning that any patch out there made will be atleast 28 mb just cause of the one file that has the kits. Also this means no Kit downloads!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless it's in a massive patch.

Overall this is not good to hear, hopefully there is a way around it but I doubt it!!

So?? In NBA live 2000 there was only ONE kit file and the guys created EA Patch so u could install individual kits. There are 1000's of downloads over there. Don't worry. Some smart guy'll create a EA Patch for FIFA 2001

i would think that there will be files in these 28mb files that will be able to be edited with a program that someone will make.

Well, you can try this:
- Download EA Graph (If you don't have it)
- Open the kits.big file
- Select the correct FSH file
- Choose extract, now you have 1 SINGLE FSH FILE
To import again, do this:
- Choose Import Wizard
- Take the second: Add Files to an external TAR archive
- Fill in the kits.big file (or browse) in the left part
- Add the FSH file in the right part.
IMPORTANT: Do not change the name of FSH File name
- The previous FSH file will be overwritten by the new one

Hope this helps, It worked fine for me.

As i said, the guys over there at FIFA MLS have created a gfxpak program (only bout 20kb to download and now, kits'll only be about however big they were in previous versions

People, people, people.

Have you never heard about GFXPAK?
Well, you have used this program many times and you even mentioned it:-)

I have done many many updates for the NBA Live Series.

With GFXPAK you import a small FSH File into a BIG File. The downloads for this FIFA will contain the Jerseys as FSH and a Bat file which imports the Jersey into the BIG Archive.

There won't be any problem.

Now I have seen that on www.fifa2001.com there is a download I described with GFXPAK and a BAT File.

Just download it and open the BAT File and you will understand...
