I've been talking with a few people and they say that they want to see the away goal rule abolished.

What do you think?

Let it stay, is my opinion.
Tho my team has been punished by this rule way to many times.

I think it's a good rule. It makes the games more exciting.

even tho i Hated the rule when Monaco bumped out Real in the 1/4 final. :(

I think they should stay, as the team playing at home definately has an advantage and so the away team needs an incentive or booster to getting a good result. It is harder to score away than at home.

i think it sucks and should be removed. dumb rule. if the same amount of goals are scored, they go to extra time, then penalties, like in all games if the teams are equal.

You're right.

About the rule, I only like it if it doesn't cost my team anything.

The only way to abolish the rule was if every game was played at a neutral venue, which would only dimmen the popularity of the CM.

I think they should not have them count as 2 goals since it obviously isn't fair, but whatever, only way to do things.

They seem to cope fine without it in the Copa Libertadores. Even though they end up beating the sh!t out of each other every year in a couple of games lol. I think it should stand because it gives the game more of an edge. Although scoring an away goal gives you more of an advantage than having your home fans on your side.

Yeah I doubt it ever would get abolished, but sometimes it just seems to unfair.

After all these clubs are professional right? Away or home, shouldn't matter too much, and sometimes it can backfire. Ah well it is pretty unrealistic to abolish this rule.

BTW, I didn't say UEFA is thinking of abolishing it, I was just curious on your opinions.

i dont like the UEFa rule it should be like Libertadores but one thing i hate about libertadores is in the quarters when they tie they go imidiatly to penalties.
