You know why Konami put all these stats in the game? No, not because they have any influence on the game situation but only so that useful idiots like you are easily impressed and can lecture others about how the angle of the foot or the length of the moustache of a player leave their mark on the ball's speed and how this game is so 'complex' and 'realistic' and 'like the real thing' and 'how it's like so amazing how many aspects play a role in it'.
Of course you don't have any proof for what you're babbling on about (unless you point out the code for me where this is actually done), but since PES is a religion to you it MUST be so, no?

Now on to my intended post
Now i'm onto my 5th season of master league and the CPU AI has tried every dirty book in the trick to make me lose, well it bloody did do it. In the space of 10 mins for example i've beaten there defenders, skinned the keeper on two occasians *sp and one hit the bar while the other one (just by tapping the shoot button) sky's it, passes go astray, players getting brought down in the box and no suck penalty, blocking etc however when the CPU AI plays fast passing, skins my defenders even after i two foot slide tackle them they still manage to have the ball, my own keeper, defenders decide to chat up the 4th offical they never stay in defence, cpu always score from a corner or free kick.
It's funny when i manage to get into the box my player sky's it no matter how hard i press the button it still does it

I think both sides have a valid point here. I was struggling a lot shooting to begin with. I have gotten better and am routinely winning on professional now. But it's because I have changed the way I shoot, the kinds of opportunities I create. I don't think this is a good thing.
I truly don't know how anyone can argue that this game doesn't make your shot go over the bar too often. I've seen Kevin Davies head 6 feet over the bar when unmarked from 2 yards with an open goal. I've seen him dribble past the keeper, only to sky his shot over from 6 yards. And believe me, I am tapping that shoot button as quickly and lightly as I can. We laugh at stuff like this video because it's so freaking rare at the top level. But in PES6, it happens all the time. It doesn't mean it's impossible to win a game, but it's cheap, unrealistic, and frustrating.
I simply think there are some shots that should go into the goal 99% of the time, regardless of whether there is a defender around you, how fast you are going, etc.
