Very true. I only buy people who they want or have been linked with in reality, i.e. Ribery, who also proves an awesome signing but costs between £12-15 million. D3adly I can't believe you've changed from Cristiano Ronaldo to Nemanja Vidic!

weejamierfc why would you sell a CB and buy a striker, arsenal have heaps good strikers. baptista and henry paired up are ace. if you looking for a good cheap CB try fabricio colocchini.

You dont need a striker, Vela and Nicklas Bendtner become world class and so does Walcott, I played the Beast in the Centre of Midfield

Arsenal are probaably one of the easiest teams to play with. You have Henry who'll score bag loads, Baptista who is just unbelievable in the game, Fabregas is a bit underrated, but van Persie as a left winger is brilliant, Clichy and Traoré give you great fast left backs. You start off with 2 world class CBs and 2 very good youngsters in Djourou and Senderos. Hleb always gets an average rating off over 7.9 for me.

I get Akinfeev or Ustari for a goalie ater Lehmann retires. You really only need to buy another CM, but you can wait for Denilson and Merida to develop, they turn out great, Merida especially, a perfect Rosicky replacement. You also start with Vela and Walcott, Vela being just a goal machine, scored 50 goals in 45 games for Mexico :mexican:.

The only big name I brought in was Akinfeev and I use him in rotation with Lehmann...I am thinking about not even offering Lehmann a new contract!!

With Arsenal You have all the players you need even before the game begins...so with that 20 million buy up a whole lot of Young talent...get Dos santos from barcelona he is looking good!! and try Cederic Baseya I got him for 210K he is on loan tho

I couldn't get Akinfeev! I bidded all the way up to £6m and they wouldn't accept. I also tried paying up to £5m to seal Boruc's signature and they just kept rejecting despite him being unhappy at them doing so. He's only worth about £1.5m too.

To get akinfeev you may need to bid as high as 7-8 I think I will end up paying 8! but in my mind he will become a superstar so I feel it will be worth it! Like what man utd have done in real life next season I will buy Ustari that way I will have two class keepers

As for poom almunia and lehmann does anyone want to buy them?

talking of Arsenal, how do you guys play against Arsenal? i find that no matter home/away whatever, i always struggle to get possession and depending on the form of my defence (or even not in some cases) i can concede tonnes of goals purely because they get so many chances. I've tried several different approaches but i can never seem to stop them having so much of the ball.

I try to dominate possession by using slow short passing down the wings, does the trick 50% of the time, always a struggle though.
