ARSENAL are lining up a shock £7million splash on Nigeria's acrobatic wonderkid.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has met representatives of top-rated striker Julius Aghahowa, already tipped as a potential World Cup star.
Aghahowa, 20, scored twice in Nigeria's 2-1 victory over Scotland last month and added another to his tally with the opener in Thursday's 2-1 defeat of the Republic of Ireland.
All his goals are celebrated with an outrageous bunch of backflips and somersaults.
His Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk have been inundated with interest from top European clubs, including Italian champions Juventus and Scottish giants Rangers.
But Aghahowa, due to face England in the Group of Death in Osaka on June 12, has his heart set on a move to the Premiership. His brother lives in England.
His agent, Saife Rubie, admitted: "Julius wants to come to England and there has been interest from Arsenal."
Aghahowa could meet with Wenger this weekend, when he is in the capital for Nigeria's friendly against Jamaica at Loftus Road.
I Know not allot of people know about this striker, but believe me he is absolute quailty and he is only 20 years old. He would make a great partnership for Henry, because he is a goalscorer like Nistelrooy. He also has plenty of skill, pace, powerful in the air and can score any type of goal.
Not to forget his crazy celebreations.
