What a shock...........Wenger never sees anything.
Wenger always makes those comments of his (whether its wrong or right) to his team's advantage..

ain't he always said the same thingy... i haven't seen this and that.. the pitch is too small that's why we got so many red cards... :crazyboy:

I listened to the game on Capital Gold, and that co-commentator Tony Gayle -- obviously a West Ham fan -- was really funny... You should've heard him when Lauren got a yellow card: "Faw toimes, that's faw toimes... 'ee shud'a bin sent orf" :crazyboy:

Another thing I remember was, when the score was still 1-1, the commentator said "Sol Campbell tries an overhead kick...". When you hear things like that, you know things are getting desperate! :p

I think Arsenal were lucky to get away with this game because they were far from their best.

It's quite obvious that you didn't watch this game, 'cause if it wasn't for James' superb goal keeping efforts , West Ham would have lost 7 - 1...And btw, Dennis DIDN'T elbow that scum bag Bowyer, he barely touched that piece of crap with the back of his hand and he went down like a ton of bricks trying to get the call...serves him right that Bergy served up a goal scoring cross:)

Go GUNNERS!!!:D

Good 3rd goal of yours, real class. The other 2 were crap though - as if Lomas even touched him? So Bowyer has a poor past - let's let everyone have a field day on him. I'm pissed off, we didn't deserve to win or even draw, but at least give us 11 men and don't let Bergkamp get away with BLATANT elbowing.
That's a pretty good summary of the match that I saw. A penalty and a sending off for triping over a blade of grass; a goal for elbowing (don't care what bergkamp says you don't defend the ball with your elbows or turn with your elbows at head height unless you have a broken collar bone - even if it was on Lee Bowyer); and a good 3rd.

10 men are always going to struggle against 12.

now.. bertkamp16... there is no point defending a guy that really elbow another player.. regardless whoever the player is.. i know bowyer is a scum bag... but that doesn't justify bergkamp act.. he cleary elbow him... that's the fact...

Excuse making.

It's really instructive the way Arsenal supporters behave in this forum. Supporters tend to reflect their team.

We have classy, articulate Arsenal supporters.
We have bitter West Ham supporters
We have frustrated ManU supporters
We have hopeful Chelsea supporters.
We have chip on their shoulder, Newcastle supporters
And best of all.
Excuse making LPool supporters who are the most pathetic of all.

For every Ashley Cole, Jeffers, Pires and Bergkamp, there are

Gerard, Murphy (nasty tacklers), Owen (falls if you blow on him)
Van Nistelrooy (diver), Keane (saint), P.Neville (dirty)
Shearer (invented the elbow), and Bellamy (aka stampman)

The real issue is that Arsenal is the best in the country, despite playing with half of their team injured for most of the season, and just as I had to suck salt when ManU were winning everything, you lot have got to eat humble pie and either shut up with the excuse making or support Arsenal.

Nice to know my judgement wasn't too biased - them claret and blue glasses can be hard to see through..;)

cmon, Lomas was clearly grabbing at Pires shirt, and even though Pires might've been able to keep his balance (of that NONE of us will ever know), Lomas was flat-footed and was pulling him back

And shirt pulling has been identified by FIFA as a problem and refs have been told to deal out harsher penalties than they have in the past. The real problem is that refs are never consistent

He had the lightest grip for a split second. Penalty material my arse - and a red card? Arguing is superfluous now, I know, but I'm still mad as a cut snake 24 hours later.

did i ever defend a liverpool player that did wrong?? yes gerrard tackle was horrible... no doubt about it.. i admit it... but the problem with your arsenal fans is that they never admit it... even your lovely manager also never admit to anything.. oh.. i didn't see that.. oh.. the pitch is too small... so there for we got lots of red card... which i think is pure class comments...:hump:

and not to forget one Arse supporter who thinks he's a genius, and should probably keep things to himself when he ends up talking rubbish...

this is one of the reasons why I've come to hate Arsenal over the last 3 years.... their supporters.

Now, until you have a clue what you're on about, try keeping your trap well and truly shut. If you knew anything about me on these forums, you'd know that despite being a Hammers fan, I have on numerous occasions applauded the wonderful football Arsenal have been playing over the past few years. I've applauded Henry as footballer (pure **** as a bloke, though) along with all the other talented individuals on the team.

One thing I won't take lying down though is being cheated out of points by star struck referees who are inherently biased towards the bigger clubs. West Ham this year have had ONE piece of luck go their way (Defoe's offside goal against Man Yoo) the rest being purely ****e luck from ****e refs and ****e linesmen.

Another thing I won't take is being lumped in as a generally 'bitter West Ham supporter'. Yes, I am today, and will be for a week or so. But I'll be over it and ready to support the greatest team in the world again. But, since you think I'm bitter and 'supporters tend to reflect their team', do elaborate further.

Classy and articulate? More like ill informed and condescending.

I think West Ham fans have the right to feel bitter at being robbed by a blind referee. You're being a bit harsh on the old Newcastle and Liverpool supporters there. I don't see Liverpool supporters making excuses, they were trying to get to the bottom of why their team was in that run of form.

The real issue is that Arsenal is the best in the country, despite playing with half of their team injured for most of the season,
rotflmao!!!

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD IT WAS NOT AN ELBOW

I've watched it six or seven times now, at most it was a slap with the back of his hand, kind of like a slap combined with a push.

All you guys saying "clearly elbow" and "BLATANT elbow" need to apply for referee positions in the EPL, your Arsenal-hating has made you blind.

Hahahaha.

Real cute with the editing, real cute.

Good thing I read this before I complimented your response to my ManU vs Chelsea summary.

Arrogant and obnoxious..............lol, that's too funny.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, Hermolt. I feel for you son. I really do. I admire your passion and support of your team, but you know what.
Your team is crap. And it doesn't matter how many times you read in the papers that they are too good to go down, as long as they are in the position they are now, they are being demoted.
So you better stop whining about referees and have your time better spent.
Here's a suggestion.
Start praying.
Because believe me, if you think the referees suck in the Premiership, then you will tear your hair out in the Nationwide.

Shearer.....at least it took our supporters for you to hate Arsenal.
It took your crappy players and your feel sorry for himself Manager to get me to dislike them. Shearer is the dirtiest player in the EPL and you can never dispute that.

Amika..........Arsenal players always state when their players err. The problem with you is that you don't seem to appreciate that there are occasions when what you see is different to what someone else might conclude.
I'ts perfectly reasonable to say that Pires was fouled and the referee applied the rules.

And when I say classy and articulate I am not describing me. Although, you know, if the cap fits.
And I don't have to like any of you in here anyway. This is not a gentleman's club. I respect many of your opinions, but I call it as I see it.
Heck I even voted for Shearer to be the moderator. You didn't say "thank you" by the way.

Sorry, but that's the way that many comments from Arsenal fans have come across lately and I think others have noticed it. It was probably the same when Man Utd were winning all the time.

At the end of the day I think that we'd all just agree to disagree about this and in a months time this disagreement would mean nothing.

I don't remember instances of when Arsenal players have admitted to fouls, or penalties or refereeing decisions but then I don't read all the news about them I get what you see in the media and they're not going to print a nice story because it's their nature.

I still believe that Bergkamp hit Bowyer in the face, and that Pires took a dive. But what does it matter. You should've just said 'yeah, but the ref gave it' and that's it. I don't think you can defend Pires' dive, or Jeffers' any more than I could say that Van Nistelrooy dives, he does, if it gets Man Utd a penalty then I'm happy (because if others are going to do it and the referees are going to miss it, then it'll make itself even in the end).

As for Bergkamp, I've thought he was a dirty player (like Alan Shearer) ever since he stamped on an Argentinian during the 1998 World Cup, and he's proven to be exactly that. Although it's odd how many times he's gotten away with it, he's not the first.

Normally I'd forgive a player smacking Bowyer in the mouth, as I'm sure Amika would ;) But when your team's chasing them and the referee gets 2 of their goals in a 3-1 win, then you realise fair play.

I think you're being a bit ott when you're bad mouthing everyone though mate. I think that's what got me goat.

Well mate, you are obviously enoying your time in the sun, good for you, cos it ain't gunna last forever. We could be Div 3 and STILL be a better club than Arsenal - not the team on the pitch, mind, but the supporters and general ethos of the club. Remembering I'm still in bitter mode, your supporters are prawn sandwich munching warm lemon drink sipping glory hunting ****s.

But anyway. I'll piss and moan as long as it takes for you dozy ****s to realise that refs like Winter, Poll and Neal give a **** more about being on a first name basis with bg players than reffing properly. They aren't accountable - and they should be.

I'd love to go down to Div1 - 1980 anyone?
