Liverpool will really want to win this one and upset them. Houllier can really prove a point as well.

It'll be a close game. my prediction

Liverpool wins 2-1

enigma

Starting XI
I have faith.
We win 1-0.
Bob to inflict more damage.

*Edit*
Might end up 6-0, though. Just like last year when our season crumbled, Soto came to Highbury and were destroyed by Bob and JP.
Oh a man has his dreams..

I knew the injury was bollocks. It's an Arsenal injury, the ploy is as transparent as the space between W's ears.

Either that or your physio is wank.
Back!=Hamstring.
Cartilidge Damage!=whatever Reyes had.
Remind me to send him a copy of 'Physiology for Dummies'. :p

No one said it was an hamstring injury, check the chelsea-arsenal match thread i said it was was a back injury immediately after the match even the commentator said so just before the game ended,I guess a copy of 'Understanding Tabloid Bulls**t For Dummies' should be sent to you monkee.

Btw:did you actually see the challenge on reyes(or did you read a text info about it on eurosport live score or smth) that basically removed his influence in the game anyone would have thought some damage must have been done, and it was an initial assesment on the pitch as well.

darn.. just started this thread this afternoon and it is already 3 pages long... :nape: btw.. henry is playing.. double darn!!!!!:nape: :kader:

Hehe. Just messing about guys. :) Didn't think you'd take it all so serious.

But Arsenal have had a lot of injuries recently that are going to keep such-and-such out for the next game or two and then they make a miraculous recovery. It's a ploy perhaps. Either that or your physio isn't that good at diagnosing injuries or he's ET.

As for Henry's injury, when he went off the pitch it was his back and later it was his hamstring (according to the press admittedly - but you get your info from somewhere).

Reyes' injury on the other hand looked nasty from the way he turned on his ankle. Then they said it was his ligaments, not serious Pires or Van Nistelrooy style but ligament damage keeps you out for a bit. Who knows, there's a bit of difference between 3 weeks out and playing 3 days later. It was a very poor diagnosis, or was it Arsenal's ploy?

Seeing as this is to do with tomorrow's game I won't stay off topic anymore.

No predictions neither as I don't mind who loses. :p

He wouldn't survive in Nationwide Division 1.

These tackles happen in football all the time mate - welcome to The Premiership Jose Reyes.

I don't see what Wenger/Arsenal are moaning about, Fergie wasn't moaning when Vieira put van Nistelrooy's knee out for a week.

If Liverpool play to there best then they can win it.

Pfft vs Steve Gerrard...:rolleyes:

he has been good, but he hasnt been the only stand out this season...I have to say that in the games Ive seen Kewell has also lifted the side loads...He has been a bit quieter lately, but earlier on, and during the middle parts of the season he and Gerrard were the only guys that were trying in the Liverpool side it seemed...

Maybe cos hes not a division 1 player, and besides what has that post got to do with the issue at hand, no one has said tackles dont happen, just that it looked like a tackle that could have resulted in a serious injury considering the way his ankle looked, organise your comments to the issue at hand.

Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier is expecting a Highbury backlash when his side visit Arsenal on Friday.
"Arsenal will be like a wounded animal and will be looking to bounce back after their FA Cup and Champions League defeats," admitted Houllier.

"It has not been an easy period for them but we will need to be on top of our game to compete with them.

"Arsene is a strong manager and his players are caapable of overcoming their recent difficulties."

Although there is 25 points separating the two clubs, Houllier believes the gap between the sides is not that big.

"We should have beaten Arsenal when we played them at Anfield," he said.

"We played very well in the first half and we had quite a few players unavailable that day who are now back in contention.

"We have to show our determination to finish fourth and I'd say it is a more important game for us than Arsenal because they have a bigger cushion at the top of the table."
