He's correct, if the wall isn't back the full 10 yards (which it wasn't) and the ref says you can shoot, or makes a signal to take the freekick then you can. It's just a quick freekick, something that you see happen all the time but usually with a pass, the ref will only call it back if he didn't say the match could restart.
Martin Tyler is gonna have to change his underwear at full-time if 'ONREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE'(©Sky Sports/Martin Tyler) scores again.

he holds up his whistle and you can read his lips when he says "wait for my whistle".....he walks away ....Henry kicks the ball into the net and Poll allows it.
THE RULES.........Henry should be booked for taking it early and Arsenal have to retake it.
How can refs make it up as they go along.........can Arsenal actually play one single game without controversy?...........no wonder they are disliked so much......................

Oh and before anyone tries to go one up on me, i'm in Yorkshire for a wedding and I had tickets to the game....
