Arsenal v Portsmouth
Emirates Stadium, Ashburton Grove
Saturday, 16 December

Arsenal (3rd, 29 points): Lehmann, Eboue, Djourou, Toure, Clichy, Walcott, Fabregas, Baptista, Van Persie, Gilberto, Ljungberg, Adebayor, Almunia, Hleb, Hoyte, Flamini, Song, Senderos.

Out: Lauren (knee), Rosicky (groin/hamstring), Gallas (thigh)
Very Doubtful: Henry (neck)

Portsmouth (4th, 28 points): James, Johnson, Primus, Campbell, Pamarot, O'Neil, Pedro Mendes, Davis, Taylor, Kranjcar, Kanu, Thompson, Hughes, Griffin, Douala, Koroman, O'Brien, Ashdown.

Out: Cole (Achilles), LuaLua (thigh) Mwaruwari (hamstring)
Doubtful: Kanu (knee)

Last Season: Arsenal 4-0 Portsmouth; Arsenal Stadium, Highbury (Arsenal scorers: Bergkamp 7, Reyes 13, Henry 37, 43 pen)

Campbell is returning to Arsenal for the first time since his summer move. He's unlikely to be greeted with any kind of real heat since he was always a mercenary. The Cole situation made many Arsenal fans forget the manner in which Sol left, many have also forgiven him since he appeared to give everything he had in the Champions League final, unlike a certain "gooner".

Campbell could also find himself drafted in as a striker if Kanu can't play, he played as a striker a few times during his days as a Tottenham trainee.

If both teams play attacking like they usually do it should be a very exiting match with lots of goals...
I'd say 3-2 Arsenal
if not that 2-2 or 1-1

1-0 portsmouth, freekick crossed in, header off the post, then rebound header into empty net

we dont even look interested, portsmouth deserve to be infront

Team Captain
Adebayor dives in the area to try to get a penalty. The ref is having none of it. Should have got a yellow for cheating.

Senior Squad
Good match from both sides, the first 50 min was for Portsmouth but Adebayor lifted Arsenal single handedly which resulted in two goals and a few good chances

We're unbeaten against the "bigger" clubs in their stadiums this year.
