I think the real problem for Wenger is choosing who goes upfront.... Henry Reyes and Bergkamp were all quality on Sunday:D

i think we will rest either pires or ljungerg, and have reyes play on the wing. he was quite good on sunday and he might start playing him there if bergkamp keeps playing like he is. or, at the end of last season bergkamp was play RM, and he did a good job. its possible.

edu is definetley out until august 17th, wenger said. then he might start to play games (if he doesnt go to brazils game)
vieira will probably be fitter, might play last 20 minutes or first half or something

Robert Pires has angrily refuted media reports suggesting he was resigned to the departure of Patrick Vieira from Arsenal.

The midfielder was quoted today in a Scottish newspaper as saying the Highbury captain had "made his choice" and "would leave a huge void".

However Pires denies ever speaking to the paper and re-affirmed his wish to see Vieira stay at the Club.

"I have never given an interview to a Scottish newspaper," he said. "I am really furious when I read words that are put in my mouth.

"I have never said a word about Patrick’s situation, I have too much respect for him to give my opinion.

"How can I wish Patrick good luck in Madrid when I saw him at the training ground this morning?

"As far as I know Patrick hasn’t signed for Real Madrid and I really hope, as do all my team mates, that he stays with Arsenal."

I just think that Patrick saying nothing is the wrong move either say you want to stay and win something with Arsenal (Champion League) or go to Real and just be another player

Vieira isn't saying anything because he doesn't wanna rule out the move.If he said he won't go ,maybe Madrid wouldn't be so persisent.If he said he wants to go and then Madrid accidentaly fails to agree with Arsenal ,he wouldn't be so popular in the club because he wanted to leave.Silence is gold.Vieira is smart.
