He's a great player but how old is he now? 33? £18m for a 30+ year old is pretty awesome, even if he is great and critical to Arsenal. I wouldnt be surprised if he goes to Real but his age finally catches up with him and he plays really sh!te.

Anyone find the fact that practically nobody's gone after Ash weird?
I mean, he's got to be one of the best left-backs in the world atm.
Not a single bid. Hell, not even rumours.

Jolly good I say.

I'd say Bridge and Cole are about equal, but Cole did have a kick ass euro cup. I guess people know he's too attached to Arsenal to leave.

Better my ass.
Yoss you need to get some sense knocked into that thick skull of yours.

Yeah I guess.
He looks like someone who would never leave Arsenal unless he's held at gun-point and forced to leave.

Yeah, especially with the close friendship he has with Sol Campbell. Mind you, I thought that about Vieira.

Well Cole came through the ranks of the Arsenal youth so.. Yeah.
I'm sure in doing so, his position at the club has become a tad more significant and people are dubbing him as the next Arsenal captain over at Arsenal-Mania.

Yeah Ballack's a great captain. Too bad he'll never ever be coming to Arsenal.
Yeah Ballack will never leave Germany.

He can leave for all I care.
Thank you and good bye will be my last words to him.
He isn't loyal, if he was, he would have came out and rejected any claims of him thinking about a move. You don't need, of all people, a captain, who is thinking of moving to another club.

Flamini and Cesc will be ready soon.
the club have told him not to talk to the media, and when he was aasked he said he cannot do this.

whatever happens, even if he looks like the most loyal guy, to the team and inside the dressing room he might be totally different. many people think hes not loyal by not saying anything but maybe inside the dressing room and on the pitch etc. hes a leader and loves the club.
