I was listening to ESPN radio and they were saying that Beckham could possibly go to Arsenal and ESPN never talks about soccer so I was wondering if this is true or not?

If he'll play for 10k a week he's more than welcome.

I mean, I'd take him. But we aren't rich, we're not a juggernaut in the transfer market like Chelsea, United, Madrid and the like. We probley couldn't afford the fee or wages, I wish we could tho.

But paying off our loans is more important than selling a few shirts. I mean, I think he's a great player still, but the fame reason is the main reason Madrid splashed on him.

Plus, he's a right mid in the english game, the english game is much more intense physically than the spanish game so that rules out an engine room spot. Our right mids (Freddie, JP) are better, and younger, and Freddie is one of the hardest workers in football. We'd have to give one up, and honestly, it wouldn't be worth it.

It won't happen. He doesn't fit our style at all, he cannot beat players, if he can't do that he at least has to be a ball winner. Is he? Nope. Only thing he can do damn well is distributing but why pay so much for a 29 year old who can do the same as the 17 year old we have in our squad?

Mark my words. Won't happen.

Seaman is an absolute LEGEND......full stop.....it makes me sick that people only think of his very rare mistakes when they talk about him........when you think of the length of his career and you can count his mistakes on one hand.........i would say thats the stuff legends are made of.............:rockman:

if beckham was available, we would make room for him for sure.

we would put either ljungberg/pires centrally and hav ebeckham on the right. im telling you, if wenger had the chance to do it, for a low amount of money (and i really mean low), then hed take it for a year or two, see how it goes.


id love to see him float a ball over the manure defense to henry to slot home ;)

The deal is rumoured to be 10mil plus Ljungberg for Beckham. This is such a dumb move considering that Ljungberg is finding form(and his best position is on the left) and that with 10 mil we could probably buy SWP who is A LOT better than Becks. I have a feeling if this deal goes through then it's because they're afraid that they won't fill up Ashburton Grove.
