I just stuck a cheeky £20 on Arsenal to win the league at 18 to 1.

Probably good value right there. Not sure if it will pay, but I think they'd win the Prem more than 1 in every 18 tries.

You're going to be needing this song

It is sooooo catchy. Try to not play it everything he scores a goal. Just try.

Goldi Poldi hallelujah, Goldi Poldi hallelujah, Goldi Poldi hallelujah, es gibt einen fussball gott!

My entire life will have been made if I hear the entire Emirates sing that.

Awesome, new hit to sign while drunk. LU LU LU! Lukas Podolski!

The Legend
Gervinho has had better games than he had today, he could've won the game for us but his first touch was heavy and his finishing poor.

Overall we played well though and deserved the point, maybe three points but City had chances too. I think they only dropped two points there in the league last season, so going there and getting something is a good result. Another strong match for Per, this time with a new partner.

Oh and tits.
Thought we were good-specially in the first half and it was fair result in the end. Think we should buy a few refs in Jan if we are in a good position given they are cheaper than midfielders.

I must say I've been rather impressed by Gibbs and Jenkinson till now. Gibbs looks a different player. They both play with a passion as well. Per easily has been our best defender this season till now. He was our best central defender last season even in terms positioning, organizing and is a calming influence.

Giroud hasn't impressed me all that much tbh. He isn't bad and useful at times while I do think he'll get goals...I don't think he is satisfying enough for me as a first choice forward. I can't exactly explain it clearly but I'll try.... he has too heavy legs... he is pretty similar to Andy Carroll- who isn't as awful as people say he is but just not suitable to our style and not good enough to be a starter for a team like Arsenal but lets see. He has good movement inside the box, attracts attention and create a bit of space for players like Poldi or even Theo if he plays.

Podolski is a beast though. Absolutely loves playing for us and is really determined to succeed. Him and Cazorla are also a big help defensively off the ball and really hard working+aggressive.

And as for Cazorla...he has been an absolute magician. He looks better than Cesc even behind the striker at times as he can dribble with the ball and has two great feet. Some of his touches are just WOW. I had thought he might have a bit of trouble adapting as he looked a little fat but he is just such a fabulous footballer. I do think his form could start dropping in the 2nd half of the season- he has shown sign of fatigue in the past few games- but Rosicky and Carlos are not too far away which will allow us to rotate.

Two things that I worry about is goals drying up because I am kind of expecting Cazorla and Poldi's form dropping in the 2nd half of the season while Gervinho's shooting is just god awful at times and an injuries- specially Arteta because I don't think we have a single player able to do what he does. The squad atm looks far more balanced with pretty healthy competition-specially in midfield and defense but once again we lack that one or two players to be more than a top 4 team imo. Still thinks look positive atm.

Give Giroud time, for all the fancy footwork, pace and passing quality you now have, it is important to have someone who can and will just stick it in the net and Giroud will be that man........ when he gets off the mark the goals will start coming with greater frequency.

Lets hope so but we need a star forward I feel. Jovetic.....please. He is a true star in the making. He can easily play with/without Giroud I think.

It is such a shame van Persie is not still there, if he was I would say you team is good enough to mount a very serious title challenge (rather perversely as he left because he thought there was no chance of silverware at Arsenal).

EDIT: I think if you take RvP out of the equation, man-for-man Arsenal are as good or almost as good as Man Utd this season.

Its a crying crying shame really and I kind of thought it was a poor decision to not keep him but also its a poor decision from him. Imagining him in front of this team is really heart breaking. Its a shame it ended like this. Like Arsene said he was a weird combination of a classy elegant forward player with a strong determined personality and leadership. Just when he learned to score tap ins and got away from injuries this happens. Anyway, what is done is done and its his loss as well in the sense that he threw away the good will he had with Gooners(and some neutrals through his superhero act last season) and I highly doubt most United fans will come to really accept him fully even if he wins them the CL. I'm not talking about VantheMan.

And I agree that we wouldn't be too far away from United in quality. Not that they are an awful lot better now but its early yet to come to a conclusion.
