Oh and tits.
Fili i accept i make a few childish outbursts at times as i am a bit too explosive in my stuff.

But i got evidence to back up the fuss almost most of the time.but if u pick up al my points and gather it all collectively im pretty sure most of you will find out if i am right or wrong.

Remember what i said about Joey Barton??? and replace him with alex song in todays match. Birmingham did attack as very well and very sharp and i cant remember song playing his part in a positive way.Birmingham whenever attacked there was purpose and DIRECTION. Of course we had very superior players out their considering individual capabilities but is it better to have 100% possession for 90 minutes without a goal or 0% possession leading with 2 goals???(just an example and joey barton can be considered as an example only)

Another thing about defenders.i dont know have i mentioned about it here before but i did mention this in a lot of other places.when the CL draw took place and i found out Barca is our opponent i singled out koscienly to be the man who in the whole arsenal squad is capable of stopping messi(specially) and co.It doesnt take a genius. He has pace and drive a relatively small stature and very efficient in man marking and even if vermaelen was playing that match Kos would be the best defender on our side. on the other hand the birmingham cb Roger Johnson was simply magnificent. he was injured and still went on and dominated the game.Did he ever in his life play let alone CL the Europa league??So how did he dominate and not our defenders who just won against Barcelona?? anyone can argue our defenders were more under pressure compared to our opponents as it was a chance to touch a trophy after 5 years.well fair enough so who would you blame for having such a leaky defence??? we were lucky that our gk didnt get sent off after just a few minutes and not to concede a penalty when Bowyer was clearly on side by clichy's nonsense defending. If u recall David Villa's goal against us in the 1st leg it was exactly the CARBON COPY of what happened today in that moment exact space, exact position, and exactly the same player guilty. who would you blame for not addressing such a situation??? playing the same high defensive line which is suicide for arsenal as we dont possess that mental edge forget the quality. the reason for the tactic is clear that our full backs are supposed to provide crosses into the box which absolutely a stupid idea when theres no height or aerial prowess to knock the ball into the net specially when playing van persie as the lone striker who has to track back and defend(also in set-piece situations due to him being one of the taller players) so much for lazy arshavin who is sometimes in the box and not to mention his height. it also contributes to van persie's loss of stamina and strength and eventually out stretching his muscles and gets injured as an overall result. he is an impact player and also a dynamic and that much work rate is tough to handle for injury prone player. looking around the other dynamic players in the other attack minded teams.......

BARCA-MESSI-he plays the same position that van persie plays for arsenal and the way barca play and his partner in crime dani alves he can drop deep to link up the play and xavi, iniesta, busquets play short passes with him or between each other allowing him to rest walk through the pitch and a little bit of pace BANG a sudden direct running causes havoc
same goes for CR7 in real madrid he doesnt need to track back and defend as there are others to sort out such stuff.

this loss today could end the hope of champions league and the league.

Players that are thought to arrive at arsenal obviously follow the teams progress and such displays may make a player think "ok theres no hope of winning anything so thats that" example-
EDEN HAZARD TRANSFER SPECULATION-

#a year or 2 ago MY DREAM IS TO PLAY FOR ARSENAL AND REAL MADRID

#couple of months ago IT WOULD BE A BETTER CHOICE FOR ME TO DEVELOP AS A PLAYER IF I GO TO ARSENAL RATHER THAN MADRID WHERE I MIGHT SIT ON THE BENCH

#recently I THINK MY GAME IS BETTER SUITED FOR THE SPANISH LEAGUE RATHER THAN THE PREMIERE LEAGUE

It is not the case of this season it has been like that for a few years now.Chelsea have again started to loosen their pockets,Man City are progressing enormously,Spurs 99% surely go through beating AC MILAN(they are not the same as they were but have done some good work and will continue to do so.i remember Cesc being asked which club would prefer to play for in Italy he replied "THE SAN SIRO has seduced me") which would be huge achievement itself for our rivals and if we go through beating Barca thats a different story but our skipper Fabregas is already at the Nou Camp,Manchester United is Manchester United(after Fergie vacating the throne who knows what might happen),Liverpool will be back very soon and i mean VERY soon.

LOL.

Keep Szczesny, he has been our best goal keeper IMO

Why not simply spending some cash? That has been Wenger's problem these years, he only advances by developing young talents. A good tactic per se but it involves a lot of waiting time and he has succeeded with Wilshere, Walcott and so on but he still needs to purchase centre-backs and a fine goalkeeper that can act as a leader for the defense. They have barely no talents at those positions and with the ones that Arsenal have now, no titles will be won.

Oh and tits.
they do have cash to spend to cover the positions and are very well off financially compared to man u. But the biggest problem is team selections and tactics and man management(motivating players). and guess what RVP injured his knee and doubtful for the barcelona match. there was no need to play him though it was he who scored the goal. i only hope the loss can come positive in a mental strength. i remember when Mourinho won the Carling Cup it was the most defining moment for Chelsea as the players realized what winning meant and rest is well history.

@Recrero- the developing young talent thing may actually be a blessing as the financial fair play stuff is concerned.

They don't make nearly as much money as Man U and they just built a stadium in the middle of London.

yeah man u make money more than arsenal but signing 1 or 2 or 3 great players wont affect them as much as man u due to their debts and tho its heart aching saying this the business model of arsenal is much better than MU as it is more secured for the long term. Even Man City who are the only club have the cash to bid the highest for MESSI are consulting Arsenal about stadium naming stuff to be on the safe side due to the Financial Fairplay thing.

Think before you speak.

poet11

sorry Shifty dint get that news earlier but i guess arsene wenger will work that out may be.he is a specialist at that part.

Arsene Wenger is only in charge of transfer policy, not the business aspect. And the only way he's going to work it out is by spending less money.

poet11

Oh and tits.
yes thats the part he doesnt buy and does sell.but i am 100% sure he is involved in financial aspect he has a masters degree in economics.

It's not the role of the manager to set ticket prices and negotiate sponsorship deals. There are a lot of sales people with MBAs, that doesn't mean they help out their company's CFO.

It really isn't that big a deal really, one of the main reasons is that last summer we didn't sell any major players (first time in a long time).

Starting 11 v L.Orient.

Almunia, Eboue, Squillaci, Miquel, Gibbs, Diaby, Denilson, Rosicky, Chamakh, Henderson, Bendtner

already one up with Chamakhattack scoring.

poet11

Oh and tits.
maybe you are right Shifty

Ilaje brother actually thats the best thing for the moment but thats the worst part also as i guess next summer there are gonna be a lot changes.hopefully good in some parts for arshavin, rosicky and the gk(which is unlikely knowing Arsene Wenger) but i fear for fabregas.Specially as wenger has made him injury prone(saim hamstring)

The loss isn't as bad it seems, it's really a half-term report not a final year review.

1. 17 players contracts were improved increasing the wage bill

2. Our commercial deals (Nike sponsorship and Emirates which is obviously tied in with the stadium deal) have us earning less than our rivals, but they are up for negotiation this summer and we may take a foreign tour.

3. We would play more fixtures in the second half of the season and therefore stand to earn more from TV revenue.

4. Also there is a projected 4MP to be made within the next 18 months from the Highbury flats.

Just killed Orient 5-0 with Bendtner scoring a hatrick and Clichy actually scoring.

Not this type of scoring!
