:mambo: Don't take it personally, but aren't you american? Man, I love the NBA, but I would never get a Knicks tatoo. Nor a FC Porto tatoo, for that matter.

When my Aussie Rules team next wins the premiership (a while away judging by current form), I'm going to have their logo tattooed on my ankle. It's all about preference, and I want to wear my heart (as it were) on my sleeve...ankle.

Don't take it personally, but what the fuk does that have to do with anything?? I can't can't love my favorite football team as passionately as a European because I'm American?? That's so lame. If you were a huge Knicks fan, why couldn't you get a Knicks tatto? What's the big deal?? I would NEVER assume that a European couldn't love basketball as much as an American could, because it simply isn't true...
Considering all the bullsh*t American soccer fans go through here, I think it's pretty clear that my love for football isn't some passing fad. I've been an Arsenal fan for years and will be 'til the day I die. And it's not like I'll be getting the tatto in order to "be cool" or something, considering that probably 95% of the people that will ever see it on me won't know what the hell it is:)

I think it is OK to get a tatoo because we live in a free world and people can do what they want really. No harm done.

P.S. I've been supporting Arsenal for years too and it is my favourite club in the world. I also "respect" Liverpool and I have a soft spot in my heart for Charlton Athletic (I hope they stay up).

(yes it is OK to appreciate more than one club)

These three clubs are the only ones I like. Arsenal first on my list though. The other English clubs mean nothing to me.

And if anybody wants to get a tatoo of any club it is ok by me.

for someone to put a tattoo of their fave team on their body is excellent it shows a long life of devoting ureslf to ur club. if my parents liked tattoos id get one of juve and perth glory (aussie team) on my left ankle. and on my right one of real madrid and arsenal. because they are my fave teams from their leagues. the reason y juve and perth go on my left is because that is my shooting foot and i love juve and perth more as i have been a fan for a while.
