That was such a good goal. Beautiful opening pass, incredible first control, second touch to place the perfect pass, and great one-touch finishing.

Özil. (H)

Free-kick in the first goal for Ramsey's rebound, corner in the second to Mertesacker, free-kick in the third for Sagna. This boy is setting up goals for fucking Sagna!! (H)

The Premiership is a step down from La Liga as far as the competition goes right now, Ozil is one of the top players in the world and now he just took a step down in competition. It sure looks like it too.

Depends what you mean. It is a step down perhaps from playing El Classicos, but it is a step up from hammering clubs like Rayo 5-0 in front of a crowd of 600.

It's exciting, but the quality of play is poor and no teams look anywhere close to challenging the top clubs in Europe. Meanwhile, Italy was in about the same spot 2 years ago, but Napoli and Juventus seem to have emerged as continental threats.

It is far more competitive day in day out. I'll concede that the top clubs dont have quite the quality/level of threat that the top clubs of other European leagues pose at the moment.

It's still the only league I watch (outside of Bayern games). When I get up on Saturday I usually only look at the Premier League schedule.

Except last year, EPL had finalist in most of UCL finals in the last 10 years!!!!

Last year, Real-United was a close match ... ref error was decisive ...
Arsenal took Bayern to limit, the same team that raped everybody else
Chelsea did well in Europe last two years ... two trophies ...
City was in a group that two teams played in semi final
