2034, England are chosen to hold the world cup for only the second time. Last time they held it, they won, this time, again, they reached the final, v me, Argentina :(. I wanted to win the world cup, then I could go back to managing lower league teams in England, hopefully being accepted back at Woking, and reliving the glory between 2001-2014. Anyways, I would be interested which stadiums were used, and how many times they were used. So I am assuming a few of you would seeing as a world cup being held in England is rare.
Oh, also, despite England having the home advantage, I defeated them 2-1. Back to domestic competition it is then. :)

The stadiums and how many times they were used is below. I also added the capacity of the stadiums, the features, and the teams who play their home matches their.

Group stage:
Wembley, London x5
St Mary's stadium, Southampton x6
Walkers stadium, Leicester x4
Eastlands, Manchester x5
Old Trafford, Manchester x5
Stadium of light, Sunderland x5
Craven Cottage, London x5
St James Park, Newcastle x5
Kings dock, Liverpool x5
Elland Road, Leeds x3

Second round:
Old Trafford ,Manchester
Elland Road, Leeds,
Wembley, London
St James Park, Newcastle
Craven Cottage, London
St Mary's Stadium, Southampton
Stadium of Light, Sunderland
Walkers Stadium, Leicester

Quarter final:
Eastlands, Manchester
Wembley, London
Kings dock, Liverpool
Old Trafford, Manchester

Semi Final:
Old Trafford, Manchester
Wembley, London

3rd/4th playoff:
Elland road, Leeds

Final:
Wembley, London

Overall:
Wembley, London x9
Old Trafford, Manchester x8
St Mary's stadium, Southampton x7
Eastlands, Manchester x6
Stadium of light, Sunderland x6
Craven Cottage, London x6
St James Park, Newcastle x6
Kings dock, Liverpool x6
Elland Road, Leeds x5
Walkers stadium, Leicester x5

Capacity and club:

Nowt beats USA '94. What a farce!

Tell me about it. They did not deserve it. World Cup 98, they finish laft. Pathetic. An American told me that sooner or later they would win a world cup, I just could not stop laughing. Fool.

Ask an American what offside is and they will probably say in their American accent "It's where the coach sits doofas!". :D

Ask another American, and he will probably think it's a tripd double cheese flame grilled burger with lettuce, gurkin and about 200 over toppings to fill his 450lb lard arse. :D

Or you can ask a Dutchman where they were in 2002.

The United States WILL win the World Cup, not in 2006, little chance in 2010, but in 2014 and beyond it's fair game.

Right now soccer is the most popular YOUTH sport in the United States and once the generation gets older and the soccer-ignorant generation dies, you won't be able to say that.

They will win the "I can eat 24 hamburgers in 120 seconds world cup" Mwhahahah! Football is on the rise in every South African country, will they win it?

I am coming from a neutral view, you are coming from a one sided look at things.

Who says USA will even qualify for World Cup 2014? For all you know, terrorists may tear your country to shreds.

LoL, the English never created football. The Barbarians did, it started out kicking peoples heads about, and two trees were used as goalposts. These are the earliest reports of football being played.

football can be traced in different forms to millions of different countries :| infact, china has the first thing resembling football.

england were the first to write a set of rules, and the first to play football as it is today (well, with some slightly different rules)

the usa will probably soon win the world cup. football is growing there, and with the money they have......... well, let's say they'll win it before australia do ;)

back to the point, i've never played long enough to see many exotic world cup hosts :S

Who cares about the US? The same way Europeans are unwanted in their Basketball game, the same way they are unwanted in football. After all they have other things to worry about. They have to find out how to take control of the worlds oil production

Okay. A history lesson for you, Gazz.

A version of football has been played over in Asia for over 2000 years. It's keepy-uppy, really but its an early form of football. Football then made it over to Medievil england where they would boot a pigs bladder around the streets. Then rules where made and the beautiful game was born. The Scots then refined the game in the first ever recorded international friendly.

That's all I know about the origins of footy.

Well if you really want to play smiliies with me Veron28.

http://www.thedugout.tv/cgi-bin/forums/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=7&t=002302&counterhit=yes

Oh look! Who is that behind his PC calling for his Mummy to write a letter to my Mummy saying I have been a bad boy. It's Veron28!

Keep it going gorgeous. Maybe you want to purchase my new hard back book, "1 million and 1 ways to make Veron28 look silly". :D

Back on topic and away from making little girls cry, I can't see the USA winning anything to do with footy soon, with the current government, and his craze for world domination, makes him Hitler like. Give me the chance strap 4lbs of plastique to me and I would happily run into the whitehouse start bollock naked with the Northern Irish flag paints on my arse, screaming "Bellys gonna get ya"

Crazy. :)
