Atlético Paranaense just signed Ronald Raldés. He was playing for Rosário Central and played the Copa América for Bolívia.

Is the guy good? Can anyone please tell me something on him?

He never said it was an emergency, he asked them to read, because they are the most likely to know anything about the player, what's wrong with that?

In the team's site they say he's a fast central back and plays the classic way.

Well, I'm a fan of Rosario Central

Raldes is a young Sweeper/Center Defender that knows how to defend without commiting fouls at all.

He Played Libertadores, and with the help of Talamonti (he is better than Raldes but Raldes is awesome anyways), Sao Paulo found problems to beat Central (stupid Gaona who missed the LAST penalty with Central 4-4 and only he left...)

He is from Sub-23 Bolivian's National Squad, and a very Hot Prospect, so, you can expect a lot.

I was dissapointed like you when I heard Central contrated a Bolivian Center Back because we had at that time Talamonti AND Carbonari, the last being a strong and legendary player for the club, and Raldes won his position after all

So, Paranaense has contacted an excellent Player

BTW, Bolivian GK, Leo Fernandez, relegated with his team, Chacarita, to "Argentinian Nacional B", and Chacarita had many matches ended with 3+ goals in his net...

Also, do not understimate some players from "weak" countries, look Rondon, he is playing for Sao Paulo being a Venezolan, whose National Selection always ended at last position of South America World Qualyfing except for 2002 one, and I expect a lot for Venezuela in this ones, they achieved a record "most points EVER in a World Cup Qualyfing" in only 5 games (they now have 8 or 9 points, I don't remember well, so, imagine how BAD Venezuela was...)
