Argentina...what is wrong?

I am going to ignore all the "Because they suck" posts even though as of right now it may be true. What is happening to our team? How come we did so well qualifying for the 2002 campaign, and then just fell off? Beating Nigeria only 1-0. Losing to England was understandable, especially since we attacked so much and just didnt put one in the back of the net. Then the tie to Sweden? WTF was that!! I think this WC is where it all began. What has happend to the team and players?

-Ortega? Retired due to problems.
-Piojo Lopez? Why isn't he being called up?
-Crespo? What has happened to this man? He hasn't shown much of anything, since the qualifying campain. His skills seem to have dissapeared.
-Vivas, Pochettino or Cuevas? Same as Piojo Lopez.
-Riquelme? I know Bielsa does not like him all that much but why not try him out a little bit more.
-Saviola? Where is all the talent he shows for Barcelona?
-Veron? Plays expectacular sometimes, and then other times it is impossible to tell If he is on the field.

I think their most consistan players right now are Aimar and Cavallero right now. What is ahppening right now? And how can it be solved. I will be looking at the serious repsonses and not the bashing of Argentina, by saying They suck.

They played very well against Brazil, but Ronaldo was just too good. Their overall play was easily better than Brazil during that match.

If Aimar had started they would've probably won. He changed the game when he came on.

Well if Biesla doesn't understand that Aimar, Riquelme and Saviola are only worth the bench, like the Brazil game... there's one reason why things has been bad for you.

Aimar changed the game? Argentina played very well at the first half and piss poor in the 2nd. Aimar didnt do a thing, Argentina's best player was Sorin, and even so he was guilty for the loss, because he missed so many chances.

I've noticed also that he's (Bielsa) keeping the most technically gifted players on the bench, Tevez, Aimar, Riquelme. Why the hell Cavenaghi doesnt earn a call-up? In 2 or 3 years he'll make Crespo look like a schoolboy. Also he could try to play a more ordinary tactic than something revolutionary, if he played a usual 442 Argentina would be grabbing more decent results.

They were lucky against Ecuador, because the team in yellow hit the post, and lost some great opportunities. Their wingers rapped the Argentinian defense, a lot of crosses, but Ecuador couldnt put them away.

What you guys need is Bianchi.

Well, the first problem is a coach who has no reason to be there. Why did he keep his job after their WC performance? Secondly, i admit i know nothing about them, but against Brazil, Bielsa started some players ive never even heard of (Rosales, Mascherano and Luis Gonzalez). Surely theres better and more experienced players out there. For starters, Solari should be in the NT all the time, and Bielsa shoulve called up Camoranesi (though im happy with that outcome). and like ive said before, Cavenaghi should be in the team. When you have a stubborn coach, this is wat happens. I have to deal with Il Trap not selecting italys most in form striker for no plausable reason.....

He couldve represented both. I think he favoured Argentina (his country of birth), but after being ignored by the coach, he decided to play for Italy. Bad mistake by Argentina.

Vivas retired after WC 02, and Cueves if not mistaken plays for Paraguay.
