Are Textures Even Needed........??

My attention was brought to this subject by sKIp_E. Textures. See, I always thought Nhl's were good cos they looked quite good in the game. However, i looked how a real shirt appears, and it is actually very simple with very few wrinkles.

So i thought, I shall investigate. So i did. I tried a plain white design with nothin on at all, and got some automatic sorta textures. I think you'll agree they look already quite realistic without using any texturing, tell me what you all think about this??;)

Interesting results, i think without textures actually looks better because we can see the kit clearer. Maybe people should a adjust the kit so that it fits EA's bends, for example if you made them lines curve downwards then they should be a straight line in the game. Hmmm...
