Are free kicks too easy?

I score more regular from them and CPU players even from lower divisions seem to score more easily than they should.

I think they are, i always use the dummy freekick. Hold Z and just tap the power button and it always goes in

Thats how I do it to and I make it just about everytime.

Cool, I never scored one, I can score freekicks in Fifa06 though, where most people can't, am I normal? I don't think so.

i scored my first one- i didnt know what i was doing so i sent a low drive that went about 3 km/h and i scored

Yeah Old School (he..he..he) I could score free kicks on FIFA06 as well, but it was harder than 07 for sure. I'm trying to be more creative in 07 now cause you can really bend it after you power up the shot.

I agree with you 2! I dont think it is easy at all (!!) I've scored about 10 goals, in 2 seasons! which is pretty normal i think...but I only know 1 way to do it, and that straight forward with te stick and 60-70% power....

Just finished my first season and it was world class and tournament mode, won the premiership with Spurs. I scored a few free kicks and it seems the CPU could score from them at will. I have started a season in manager mode, 2nd game CPU scored its inevitable free kick but I have had free kicks in all 4 games and havent scored one yet. Looks like its got harder.

I disagree, freekicks in 06 were much easier. I would always have the player lay the ball off away from the wall and hit one of those power drives(hold L1 I think it was) into the corner, 90% success rate(some hit the post, crossbar etc) but the keepers never saved one.

Freekicks in 07 are easy, but I think 06's were easier.

In 07 I generally aim for near the far corner and curl it around the wall into the top corner, they feel really good to score.

in real life i dont free kick are that hard to score anyway!


its a little bit too easy with great players, but with rubbish ones or without the correct attributes to take them it's hard i tell you
