Help?

I doubt he will be gone THAT fast. He just started with this team and he will stay for at least 1 year for sure in my opinion.

I can't believe that 30 people have voted yes so far. They'll win the Premiership, but c'mon. I'm not gonna say anything because I'm a Chelsea fan and you'll think I'm partial/biased but honestly, having one good season doesn't mean you're going to win almost everything.

Without sounding too critical, I'm saying that they don't have a squad good enough to win all three even if luck was with them.

No, they have 4 or 5 very good players, but the rest are average or dross. Without Ronaldo this season they would be sitting mid table and that says it all really. Of course they have been doing well, but their position has as much to do with the underachievement of other clubs that are in contention this season than anything else.

Take away Ronaldo, Rooney, Giggs, Van der Sar and perhaps Scholes, and you are left with not much at all.

This aint a dig but get real about the situation. I remember Arsenal going a season unbeaten on the strength of some very dubious penalties, and Man U would have dropped many points this season if they hadn't have had the same good fortune, (and thats being polite) along the way.

You need luck to do well in the league too and Man U have had a good deal of that this season.

Lets see what the Belgians do to Ronaldo this weekend, and if he does get seriously injured as they have intimated, then we will see just how much verve the Man U team have left for the rest of the season.

Where would Chelsea be without Drogba either? If we take away Drogba, Robben, Essien, Cech, Terry and Carvalho, then your team would probably struggle midtable too. Tell me one team in the world that when taken away 5 World Class players will still be left with at least 11 players of World Class level? Even Chelsea doesn't have that, the teams that have depth are the ones that have good average players. And just like Chelsea, United's average players performed well when called upon this season, unlike previous seasons. I don't see how our situation is any different from other great clubs in the past, but you talk about it like United were somekind of underdog that just out of nowhere got immensly lucky. Sure we got lucky with barely having any real injuries this season, but that makes up for the fact that we would have more than half our starting team injuried for most of the season in previous years.

And Belgians won't be injuring Ronaldo, what they said is that they will have to get tough and aggressive on Portugese team, otherwise they will get raped 7-0, which is exactly what almost every other team has been doing against United. It was a simple underdog team speech about the game plan and the newspaper yet once again showed that when it has to do with Ronaldo in a way, it is the most important news in the world.

I agree mate completely. I never said that Man U were the only club in the position I talked about. A lot of teams as you say are in the same boat too. The thread title is about Man U so thats why I specifically mentioned them.

Take away Ronaldinho, Deco, Eto'o, Puyol and perhaps Messi, what do you have?

Take away Lampard, Terry, Cech, Makelele and Drogba and what do you have?

No club on earth has a second string team equal to the first team, so you have no point really. I know the thread is about United, but that doesn't mean you have to undermine every single thing we did this season. It also doesn't mean you could undermine everything Arsenal did in their unbeaten season either, because they played some brilliant football.

Its been dealt with already.....

I'm not undermining anything mate. My my you are sensitive arn't you? I am simply pointing out that like Arsenal in their "unbeaten" season, Man U this season have managed to benefit from some very dubious calls that gave them all three points at the end of a game. That is a true statement, and not a dig at all. It's a fact. Just admit it and move on mate.

No, I'm not 'admitting' anything. You have a way of putting across your point as if it's fact, when it's not, then you try to tell people to "admit it and move on". How about you admit you're a moron and move on? It'll make things a lot smoother around here.

I could count the amount of "dubious" calls we've gotten this season on one hand. The fact is, we've out scored you, out defended you and overall been way better than you this season, period, with a fraction of your budget. Same with Arsenal, they outplayed everyone in their unbeaten season. Your team though? Naah, you didn't outplay ****, you're a team of 30 million pound drones unleashed by Mourinho on the prem to be brutally efficient and nothing more. It was only a matter of time before a superior footballing team knocked your asses off your perch.

Plastic Mancs are always the most defensive of "fans" I usually find. My point is consistantly proven by your posts O plastic one.:mexican:

That's cause you only make points about us. And it seems that most of your points are just usual things that happen to absolutely every team out there, and yet you apply it to United to make them look bad, but when we say that it is exactly the same with Chelsea you say that we are talking about United here. And when we say that it is like that for every team out there, you agree.

I don't see how we are the most defensive here? If you were constantly attacking Barcelona with stupid "facts", their fans would be constantly replying to you too. You talk more about United on this forums than anybody else here, so its only obvious that the most replies you will get is from the United fans.

I remember Chelsea being lucky for many games aswell. They scored some last minute goals that gave them the win. And don't say you have been unlucky with all of your injuries (spelled correct?)! We have been their and in this season it's our (United) turn to have some luck. And with your money it's ridicouless to be in need of a central back. I know I sound a bit (or a lot) sensitive but you know, it's United ;)
