Anyone here USE trick moves?

Honestly, does anyone actually use the trick moves associated with FIFA 2004? I always try to pull off a great move to get past a defender (by holding R2 and moving analag) but the player always does something stupid, resulting in me losing the ball.
Do any of you guys use the freestyle control??

This is frustrating.....

i use it using pc.hold shift+C then press:
UP or DOWN (fakes)
RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT (spin)
RIGHT, UP, LEFT (spin in the other direction)
UP, UP (fakes right goes left)
DOWN, DOWN (fakes left goes right)
LEFT, UP (moves the ball back around left leg and goes forward to the left)
LEFT, DOWN (moves the ball back and goes forward to the right)

I DID make a search, but I didn't actually want to know how to do those moves..I just wanted to know if anyone actually uses them..They seem kind of impossible to remember and even harder to actually pull off

Yes my favorite is the spin move, and the one that pulls it behind to go the other way is good.

No its not that hard to pull off, only takes practice.

Spin move, do it early, hold R2 then w/right analog push the stick the way you are running, then down and around(hope this makes sence). In other words, if your running left to right, stick goes around clockwise, left to right goes counter clockwise.

I think its really stupid and hard to use. You have to be "walking" to do a move. and whenever i have the ball someone is running from behind me to get it. so if i try to do a trick on the player in front of me it never works either because the person behind me catches up or either because the trick just doesnt get past the one in front of me

We should be able to do the tricks while running too, for a quick counter attack.
