Anybody else having a prob beating cHelsea?

Maybe its just me, but i cant seem to beat chelsea....First of all del horno is to powerful, he muscles the ball aay from all my wingers...and he's real fast...I have to send in a cross from early before he always catches me back up...
Secondly, i know duff is good but not that good....i think hes the fastest player in the demo..once gets past u its over, unless your gonna tackle from behind....
And, u do the fullbacks come forward so much? They always get caughrt lagging on the counter attack leaving the oppositons wingers with loads of space on the flanks to run with....I do think i should change my tactics some what though to fix that..
Over all, love the game....my playing style is still a little bit like PES 4 but its gradually changing to accomadate the new game...guess i should just give it time....
P.S Arsenal in the game seems to be a better side than in real life...their the one team i use that really rattle chelsea....Again maybe its just me...post your thoughts if u have any...

Chelsea's tough to beat because they keep defenders back and they have great stats. I beat them 2-1 with Real last night after a few tries(5stars). I messed up a few opportunities cause the shooting mechanics are a bit different.

Drogba is excellent for controlling aerial balls and protecting them with his body. I even keep out Gravesen or Makelele doing this.

Drogba scored a nice goal just now. He chest the ball from a cross and volley it into the back of the net from a tight angle. lampard scored a couple of free kicks too. Reyes scored a nice goal placing the ball from a tight angle without using the R2. Scored a composured goal with aimar, doing a shooting feint and a side step scoring into an empy net. Flip flap with ronaldo. All in 5 stars. Can't wait for the full version so online leagues can begin. :rockman:

Well I had WE9 for awhile now and at first it seemed hard almost impossible to win.... BUT now that ive had the game i can beat big teams, of course when u play tournaments like Master League the game gets really hard and i eventually draw and maybe loose sum games.....

Hey can anyone who has played WE9 give us any difference in gameplay with this demo.

getting used to scoring goals now and playing the ball thru the defence.

Normally playing Arsenal v Chelsea on 20 minute games (Play 2 games to make up for the 45 minute limit)

Been a few 1-0's for both myself and the computer but just beat Chelsea 3-1 with Ljungberg scoring a hattrick :D

Makelele is great, I always run with him when the opposition defence has the ball and it's easy to steal the ball with him.

Robben plays as a great dribbler and so does Duff. The best forward in the demo IMO is Ronaldo.

Arsenal has the best attack in the demo, it's really easy to score 5+ against Chelsea on 30min with some nice wing action and crosses. But I guess it all goes down to both teams' tactics.

Do you guys get a lot of screamers in? Because I remember people were saying that long-distance shots (in the PS2 version) were really easy to put in... and I have sofar scored only from the box.

Btw. the AI is terrible this year, I must admit... five stars feel more like two

Yeah I find it easiest to beat Chelsea with Arsenal on 5 stars. For Duff I just put aggressive man marking on him and he is no problem unless he manages to draw a foul.

The AI kinda reminds me of PES 3. It seems like 4 stars is harder than 5 sometimes.

I agree...

I wish Konami would make the game harder. ML is no fun without a challenge from the CPU.

it is so easy even under 6 stars...

it depends on ur control skills and ur tactics.

i got no problem wid real madrid and chelsea.... (6)
