Firstly i played Pro evo 4 with the wolf patch, totally brilliant. Since pes 5 i have pretty much left it normal, i dl'd the superpatch placed it in various required locations, didnt fricken work, reinstall of the game.

Now tonight just played against a lad who had fowler and Kuyt in his Liverpool team, he mentioned to come to this site and get kit server blar blar.

Therefore i see there are various patches and kit servers and what not, so to sum up what do i need in full for enhanced kits, updated players/Squads etc?

Could somebody pls give me a bit of an idiot guide also, as to what should be installed first and to which directory etc.

I did have a look at the sticky of course, but it does not fully lead me to what i should be installing etc.

Any help would and will be much appareciated.

edit no point....i will stick with standard kits, and im gutted the wolf has gone, as the help here is nada.

I updated mine to the january transfers but haven't updated them since then.

Ask "the lad" to tell you which one he got.

Why don't you ask the lad which one he installed?

I had the black kit problem once and reinstlled the game.
Instructions are not made crystal clear here, unfortunately.

It was just a general player in game, im re-installing from scratch now, but tbh, if i wanted to apply the updates what do i start with first?

Not sure what to apply first and with what content, thats what i find quite poor about the current content of this forum atm.

very VERY annoying! im sure i will get a constructive response from pesfan instead!

Here, download this option file, and get this stuff. Now install kitserver and all that, but when you're done, move the uni folder out of the gbd folder (so you won't get double kits), then turn kitserver on. Now put the option file in My Documents\Konami\PES5\save\folder1 and you're all set.

You don't really need the stuff in the second link, that's just extras (stadiums/balls/faces). The option file is already great, everything is up to date, and it's painless to get working.

p.s current kits are black, i have bellamy in the team, and im thinking that maybe something is heading in the right direction.

Nope, you just install it once and it'll modify the pes5.exe or something like that, I'm not clear on the specifics, but you only have to run it once before starting the game up.

I'm not clear on how to install kitserver. There's no installer there.

Scouse: It's in kitserver\GDB

a27: Unzip the kitserver file to wherever you installed PES5 (mines is in D:\Games to kitsever is D:\Games\PES5\kitserver. Once thats there, run the kitserver.exe and from the drop down menu your pes5.exe should be selected, if it's not, select it. The just press install and your ready to go.

i just launched single player and all the kits and transfers are there, im off to try Online.

Dude if this works online i forever owe u a favour (non-sexual of course lol), i will report back after the first game!

I installed Kitserver and the option file and it works fine.

Is it still possible to add the stuff from the second link?

Also, how does the online play work? I've never tried it.
