Despite not being German, and not really following the league irl, I've been playing Bundesliga for a bunch of years. Did career with Borussia Dortmund in FIFA 21 and 22, HSV in 23 and Eintracht in 24. Somehow I managed to corrupt my career and never bothered to start over, so these mods might get me hooked again.

I think Bundesliga is the perfect league for a career, it's fully licensed, with the broadcast package, almost every stadium, good amount of stadiums in 2.Bundesliga and unlike other leagues it has the least amount of games in a season with the league having 18 teams, which in the long run helps not getting bored with so many games from league and cups to play

Agree with you. Many Stadiums are still available for the Bundesliga. And for me as a German with last year’s EEP mod I had 4 Leagues to play. But 3 leagues this year is fine as well. Just my favorite Team Bayern lack since ages the Allianz Arena. But like you mentioned with Anth’s gameplay and the Career Mode mod from Theawesomegem We have now a complete new and great overall experience to play FC 24. A big complete Patch like EEP would rounds up this season’s experience. But first of all a footy Game needs a good gameplay and than cosmetics and immersion next.

Hi, there's a massive difference between free and paid as the current public version is V12 and the paid is up to V17. So a lot of development, time and effort has taken place between that time. Also available is the 'Full Gameplay Package' which includes a huge range of options and different standalone versions of the mod.

It is compatible with anything that doesn't touch gameplay files.

In terms of AI v AI, it should can - but you'd have to try and find which version/combination works best for your tastes.

I just simply had to comment, to say thank you for this mod. I am honestly blown away by how much I am enjoying the game.

I recently bought a PC that was able to play these kinds of games and I originally downloaded and installed all the mods for Football Life 24. It looked good but the gameplay just wasn't right. I downloaded many gameplay mods and none of them really changed the issues i was having.

I decided to download EAFC and then stumbled across your mod. It is incredible! I have just finished a game vs Maan City which I won 1-2 and it was just brilliant. I have changed some sliders very. very slightly (passing speed and GK ability) and i am really enjoying it.

I am most likely going to join you Patroen to try and get your updated MOD. I was just wondering, what are the key difference of V17 over the Public 12 i have downlaoded and used?

Thanks alot for this,. its really got me exicited to play a career mode. I have downloaded a career mode mod which it states will make things more realistic, which I really hope works.

Hey, Anth. Is there a way to make the game harder than V17 Difficult? I was using V17 Difficult with Width Option but removed the width option as I was finding it too easy to defend and score. To give you an idea of what was happening, I am playing with Newcastle and is on top of the table with 8 wins from 9 games (unbeaten). In one match, I scored 5 goals with Isak. After removing the Width Option, the game does feel a bit more “compact” and there are more “midfield battles” happening. However, I am still finding the game too easy for my taste. I don't want to remove your mod, as this mod is far the best gameplay mod I've played, but scoring 3 goals every game, and being top of the table already kinda turns me off. Please give me any suggestions, if you can. Thanks a ton!

Holy shit, so much goals even on v.17 difficulty?? Either you are a pro e-sports crack or you have probably something missing, Mate! Can you provide a little Video review of your game? I play FIFA since ages and I find even on Worldclass the difficulty Level kinda encouraging.
Maybe I am bad Player but not bad enough that you could have some settings missed. Do you use the recommendated sliders, compeditor mode off, player based skills on. On normal game speed I assume? Of course wait for Anth answer but I am playing the mod since it´s release and it is always a difficulty mode on board which I never heard before you can score Isak in one game to a Hero. Hey man, are you on Legendary or World Class? If you're not on Legendary, then make the jump up as it's much better since TU11.

Also, try using one of the 'attacking adjustment' options

Guys, something I noticed yesterday......

I have a Rog Ally and I loaded up my mod and was playing a couple of games.... I started to notice a particular defensive behaviour that I know was not present in the same version I've been playing on my PC. The rest of the mod was working, but there was a very specfic behaviour that clearly had been fixed in previous versions that was still happening on my Ally...

My EA app was also behaving a little strange. I couldn't figure it out at all, so decided to completely uninstall and reinstall FC24. This fixed the issue entirely.

The reason this is concerning is that the mod was working partially, and there was no obvious reason for it happening, but it definitely was. I have the luxury of knowing this as I built the mod and had two PCs to compare it against.

Moral of the story - if you're noticing something that doesn't seem right, or you feel the mod isn't working properly etc, then it might be a good idea to reinstall the game entirely, re-load all of your mods in a fresh mod manager and start from scratch. It might even be a good idea to do this from time to time.

Yeah, I followed the instructions to the dot: default sliders except injury frequency and severity set to 95 and 15 respectively. Comp mode off, world-class, default speed, all controls semi. Don't want to toot my own horn, but I have had streaks of up to 20 wins in a row in online seasons div 1, so one of the reasons is that I have the game engine figured out? I've been playing FIFA since 1999 (I'm old, 32 to be precise ), but I was never this good until FIFA 2019. After that, it has been a breeze. My main qualm with the AI in this game series was that it was ridiculously difficult on legendary and too easy on world-class (one of the reasons I didn't pick FC Barcelona, which I always pick, as I wanted a challenge). I still feel career mode have some weird boosts applied when the team is in form or a player is in form. I also have expert coaching, so all of my players have their overall increased by 4 or 5 or something. Furthermore, I also tried upping pass and shot error, but it just makes the game/mod doesn't play that well…

Yes sir. I'll try legendary though I have PTSD playing on legendary as the AI keeps dancing with the ball just under the penalty area on this difficulty hopefully it's better with your mod

It may be the case with me having the game too easy… I reverified my steam files and it found 3 corrupted files (possibly due to other mods that I had before). I haven't tested the game yet since then, but I am planning to play a few games today. Fingers crossed!

Played a game against Southampton in the Carabao Cup. It seems the mod is working as intended now (I feel verifying file integrity on steam helped). The game felt focused on midfield battles rather than end-to-end action (which was the case in my previous games).

Since the video is public, I have mentioned the gameplay mod in the title and also provided the link to your Patreon, Anth, in case people are interested. Really enjoyed this match. Won't spoil the result

Hello anth…i downloaded your mod v12 played it and it was amazing… i then paid and got v17 but it played different..the AI wouldnt build from back instead anyone AI would get the ball and sprint full force towards my goal leaving my CB useless as they cant catch up.. ive tried lowering sliders to 0 for speed and acceleration of CPU but it has slightly reduced this problem… whats concerning is that the AI do not play like in your videos any help?

Hey Mike. The CPU will punish you for space left now, so you have to be mindful in your positioning. If you're playing against a fast striker for example and you have slow CBs, it will impact how you approach the match. There's a bigger difference between players skillsets on V17, so it takes a litlte bit of time to get used to that and play accordingly. Once you take more of a considered approach with defending there will be less gaps and the cpu will play around looking for space again.

I wouldn't drop speed or acceleration sliders as you're going to get many adverse side effects from that.

If that's still not to your tastes though, and you have the 'Full Gameplay Package', then I would look at adding in some of the options.

Either of the attacking adjustment options will solidify the midfield a little bit more. You can also look at using the heavy switch to slow things down.

Also, you can try the 'popular older version - Base D' - as that is using the same base as V12.

I beat Chelsea 4-0 at home on world-class, upped the difficulty to legendary and beat Man Utd 5-0… so I don't understand what's happening. Once I was 2-0 up, I was able to walk past the 3 defenders easily. It was like 5 vs. 3 defenders every time, and I kept scoring goals on the counter. I'll try the attacking adjustments options before reinstalling my game.

Try deleting the %appdata% /Local/Temp/FC24 folder. Also make sure your EA app is offline or launch via Live Editor.

I've been running the game in offline mode and also deleted the AppData folder numerous times, but it works for a few games before turning back to this. I've been noticing it is happening since TU11, mostly. I'll reinstall the game tomorrow. Hopefully it fixes it.

Turns out running Live Editor in the background while keeping my EA app offline solved all my issues with the mod. The game's running as it should now, more challenging — just how I like it!
