What's the best camera angle to use ? Currently I use the WIDE because that's what I've been using my whole life (FIFA) but I can't see too much of the field. I always think there's a defender ahead of me when ther'es not. And when there is a defender I sprint like a madman and get the ball stolen. I don't want to use the radar because it slows my game down and takes up about 75% of the screen.

I use Broadcasting camera a so to have the best feeling of usual TV angle and the closeness to the players and thier moves. I don't use radar because it takes a lot of space on the screen and it gives the game a completely odd dimension of a battle field radar game which I completely dislike. You end up identifying dots instead of watching the ball and the space in front. Yes, it is very usefull, but I don't like it there. While testing some formations, strategies and tactics I used wide and the radar to notice exactly how some players move with different tasks set. In this case I don't play, just watch to find out exactly what happens with the formation. I still hope that they will come up with the completely custom camera in future!

In PES for PS2, R2 plus up or down is your best friend.

I use broadcasting like CroPE too. Wide is just too big.

Off the topic, sorry:
Fenerbahce just brings a lot of joy into my PES play. I just wonder why the best players are on the bench, ones like Rebrov and Beschasnyk. What do you think the line up in the next season is going to be? Why was there no Tomas in this years edition?

Well, Beschastnykh is gone to some Russian club, Rebrov went back to Tottenham after his lone finished, and Tomas was sold. Tomas is on the Croatian NT in the game. I really think it was a bad idea selling him because him and Fabio were great in defence together.

Don't you guys have a problem with exactly knowing if there's a teammate or a defender ahead of you because you can't see him?

There will always be a problem with the players ahead. There will never be a camera which will cover that much of the pitch to be able to see at least 20 m ahead. You just have to learn how to pace and to react properly. Most of such situations happen when crossing the halway line especially down the center. You have to be most carefull there and pay attention to the formation of the opponent and notice the positions of the defensive middfieders or coloured arrows in case of playing against human opponents. For me it's just routine and pacing of the run with obligatory R2 for sharp changing of directions, putting ball ahead on flanks, rolling, stepping over and jumping over slides.

I just look at the radar if there's a circle that's a different color than mine I just turn away :p

I guess both of you have good points. They should have a super zoomed out camera where you can see like 75% of the field. But then the players would be ant-like so that might be a problem too.

Just use the broadcasting 1 camera and take a few looks on the radar and you should do well.
