I'm sure we could all fill page after page up with the things that tick us off about the Fifa series...but the one biggest problem I have encountered time and time again is the player ratings and set ups.
I'm an American and here in the US Fifa has been licensed in conjunction with the MLS. It's not the only MLS out, but the Fifa series is without a doubt the best version and also the easiest to obtain. With that being said you would think that EA Sports and MLS would come to some sort of understanding that this product needs to be a good reflection of the MLS and soccer in general.
Instead year after year the MLS gets the worst possible ratings for players and the positions for each players are more often then not completely off. I know most of you on here are Europeans and probably could care less about the MLS...but damn it's soo sad to see such an appalling job done to my home league the MLS. Martin Klinger who couldn't hold my jock strap let alone score a goal is the best rated player on the Metrostars...the kid has only played 1 game in his career for the Metros. Big name players in the US get tossed out the window too... I can't understand how a product like this gets a league approval to be included in the game ... and then in return EA Sports puts out not even a half assed attempt in creating the players.
I'm very well aware that EA Sports hires a company to do players ratings for the players included in the games....but how come year in and year out these type of errors go unnoticed ? It's sad to see how such an easy little thing gets over looked. I know all I have to do is go into the creation center and fix it myself...but last time I looked EA Sports doesn't send me a pay check, so why should I bother constantly fixing their easy mistakes... don't they have people that more or less proof read these games ? Sad stuff folks....I'm getting soooo tired of EA's dropping the ball on the easiest things.
