Eliminated from UEFA Aris and Panionios

I'm not saying that with a doubt this will be the case

just what I think can happen

and if you've followed UEFA or Champions League at all in the last 6 years then you know this or any year in the next 6 years will be a big year for Greek Football....i.e UEFA CUP or More!!!


Don't be a sour grape because the Greeks are finally standing on their feet in Europe

i don't know the greek league to well but i know that Panathinaikos has a good team. they play recently against Benfica and Porto (Uefa Cup)...

olympiakos has Karembeu and Giovanni, good players but i think they are a bit old :p

my bet is that panathinaikos will broke the olympiakos title chain this year :D

PS: in which stadium plays olympiakos? and when olympic stadium will be ready which team will play there?

Olympiakos natural venue is Stadio Karaiskaki in the Port of Pireaus

currently they are playing in a neutral venue owned by Apollon Athens FC

When the Olympic stadium (OAKA for short) is finished it will only be used for Track and Field and the National Football Team

Panathianikos and AEK UEFA champions league either quater or last 16. By the way there is no second phase the league structure has changed to 1 group phase and then goes to knockout.
Greek cup will be AEK or PAOK.

hahha olympiakos will have 8th, the owner of the greek league err i meant to say olympiakos said they will stop at 10. the cup will go to panionios, or aek.

aek could go anywhere in the cl, depending on if they get their act together. they have by far the best greek team assembled in a long time. the only small weakness is their backline and even last year didnt serve as much of a problem.

PAO if they dont start playing will be in the uefa cup after the first champions league round. we dont have any players playing on the sides, and we still dont have a half way decent play maker unless that romanian steps up really big. we got 7 new players, 3 of which are meant for starters and shouldnt be playing for a big team. the pao team is in shambles. we need a new central defender, 2 new mid wings, and a new central midfielder who will fight for the ball (like karagounis) and can make a decent pass ( like tsartas).

paok and aris will do nothing this year except fight regulation. both will find first round exits in the uefa cup.

its wierd that OAKA wont be used for soccer even though olys home is OAKA. i guess they want a soccer field like leofores after seeing what atmosphere gate 13 makes, or at least used to when they had a team to respect.

there's no more Champions League 2nd group stage :rolleyes: , they hav the same system as the world cup

......to answer your inquiry, You.....all wise and all knowing Valioso should know how Greek teams operate by now.....(i.e. see UEFA 2004 qualifying preformance thus far)

...If AEK is disqualified it will be from their own laziness....they have the best team out of the two....
