Im in the team for Saturday's fixture but to be honest im not too pleased about the whole set up at the moment. Im quite a tricky person, I like to beat players and get crosses or shots in. But what's annoying is the english game. The english coaches don't like that. THAT'S why we don't have any 'special' wide players, when other countries do. So in training they'll say, NOCK IT BACK, NOCK IT BACK. When there's sometimes no need. Hmm.. It's annoying.

But im lookin forward to the game and ima do ma thing, thank you...

I came on with about 10 mins to go. A bit dissapointed but at the end of the day im the youngest and I have to wait for my chance to start, and i'll take it... i'll take it..

But I did ok, should of got the ball more, played RM had a shot, took on a couple of people but we won 2-0 so yeah, just gotta wait.. When the chance comes... It's mine....

know exactly how u feel mate. im the youngest at my club too, and the do the same thing 2 me! so ******* fustrating especially wen u no ur playing against players ur far better than.
thats why united and arsenal are so far ahead. they encourage all their players to express themselves. look at henry and ronaldo
they wont be half the players they are if they werent allowed to express themsselves, thats also why lots of peps dont make it cos they get dissolutioned with the game.

It's bad aint it, and you'd think in training you should be able to try out stuff and in the games is serious. But for me it's the other way round. In games my players love to see me runnin with the ball, and in training, but the coaches don't? That's why when someone like Cristiano comes here, everything thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. He's good yeah, but is the english game used to tricks? and outsmarting opponents? It'd be the same is Ronaldinho had come here.

It's very bad though, it really is. It's like they're trying to coach the skill out of us and play the typical english physical long ball game.

Meh, ima do my own thing which I know is right. I listen and will always do so, but im never gonna just cut skill out, why would you do that?

lol, yep good point... well its quite funny tho cuz im like the best kid in my community and in my league (but its america, they su.ck).... anyway i play indoors and outdoors (both only once a week) and wen i go indoors there is this big, huge muscular israeli guy who used to be the big hope like 20 years ago (goalie)... and he is frikin huuge.... anyway he tells me i can make it but i should stop hogging the ball and pass it (well i pass it alot but they dont think so)... and im a pretty lanky guy (not muscular at all) and he tells me im streong enough i just hav to be smarter

Well if you're good enough mate, you're old enough. Dumb coaches don't see that. They just play guys who look big and are chunky.

well said. it just feels like ur being underminded sometimes. a few of the older guys in my team have had a little word in my ear, and said that me and this other guy are the most skillful players in our team, so i least i know they respect me as a player now. its not as bad as it used to be, and ive actually managed to hold down a starting place now! its just most of the time i have possesion, they keep sayin simple ball, even in training!

Its the same at my team, they dont like you running with the ball and tryna beat your man. The would rather see you just pass it again. Not saying that its a bad way to play its just all you hear is simple ball, simple ball.

And ive been using my tubigrips like Drogba and Pennent do, with it just around your ankle, helps keep my socks up and keeps my shinpads up

BTW what's wrong with attracting attention? ? If the things make you play better, than why not wear them? For me i can't play in those big shinpads that cover half your leg and have an ankle protection attached to the bottom of them, slows me down so much, while having small shinpads that are pretty high on your leg take a lot of weight off to run faster and have better control.
