lol you guys need to get over youre boots. Henry obviously wasnt wearing them because he is injured. Nike are a big company and would have dates when they want the boots to be out and no player is bigger than the company

doesnt matter - it should solely be used only by henry. if not that, henry should be the first one to bring it out since its mainly for him (just like the vapors which are for ronaldo - altho julian gray has been getting early sample shoes for a while) - plus is adding insult to injury wen a chelski player wears it

yea i do agree that it makes sense for the player it is meant for or the "big name players" to wear the boot first
but that is almost never the case as with the orange/red R9
sum japanese guy was the first seen wearin' 'em
the red/whit f50+ was worn by another japanese guy in tha serie a before the big names
people are hesitant to switch i suppose
and there surly aren't any restrictions to whether the player who is sponsored by nike can wear a new boot that would definitely need promotion
you have to look at the boot as a form of expression/freedom of speech and you just cant stop it

Rusi mate get the white Vapors, im lookin at mine now and they're still gorgeous, perfect boots. Hopefully ur feet are narrower than most (around 4cm ish) and then you'll mould into them perfectly and they'll fit you like socks.

Being a nike person, i would get the Mercurial vapor k's but, from a neutral aspect the Zero 4's are more comfortable and durable.
And it is a bit of a bummer that average players keep getting and wearing pre launch boots before the designated player who is supposed to promo or wear them first!
Incidentally, i posted these boots (All Black Predator Pulse II) a while back. I have since found out that Adidas WILL be releasing these sometime during the summer along with the Silver Beckham Pulse II.:-

I was wondering if anybody had success in painting all or part of their cleats. I got the black/red pulses and want to paint the red rubber (predator) strips black (i find the red a little too flashy).
I was thinking of either using a permanent marker or perhaps some sort of paint. However, I'm not sure what kind of paint would hold on to the rubber and not flake/peel off.
So, has anyone ever tried it?
