Sir Alex Ferguson has been talking to Manchester Evening News expressing his frustration over his attempts to sign Rio Ferdinand from Leeds before the start of the new season. He said he would strengthen the squad before the start with or without Ferdinand
he said: 'It has been dissapointing that we haven't secured anyone yet and i am getting a bit edgy'
'The Ferdinand thing is an issue. If he's available we'd be interested but we have alternatives and other ideas'
Well i think we will soon see these 'alternatives and other ideas' as i can't see Rio leaving Leeds. Especially now with Bowyer leaving for 9m and Dacourt probably going to Juventus for 16m.
