whats wrong with you alienseafood? first of all, what would posess someone to start a thread over the reason of why alan smith changed his number? have you been pondering this for the last 2 months and finally got the nerve to ask it? and why not in Man Utd thread? and ya, i agree with aberdeen, this thread is clearly made by a chinese person.

Oh, and i like how he stated at the beginning that this wasnt a 'player thread', implying it was above that, when in the end it was a much gayer idea for thread.

Why do Chinese people care about the numbers so much? I don't see why everything is so materialistic to Asians (not all, just in general).

That Veron fan was also making a big deal about what number Veron would wear.. co-incidentally he wears the same number as Alan Smith. :confused:

Miller had a agreement with Man Utd long time before Smith, and pobably he already had chose that number.

I do, and I am not a chines, I'm neither gang up on a guy who ask a question which is interesting for him.
I believe that even chines ppl were welcome here without a bunch of ppl tease him for his extraction.
